This team continues to set new records of accomplishment with every win with the senior class being the winningest class ever to go thru Wapak High School
Hats off to the seniors for their tremendous leadership, talent and toughness, a truly special class
Congrats to the coaching staff on their continued excelence
78 regular season games in a row for Coach Moyer.. Amazing!!
A 26 game regular season win streak and a 25 game WBL win streak
The staff continues to prepare our team week in and week out to succeed.. Outstanding!
Thanks to our community for the tremendous support
We travel as well as any team in the area invading the stands with our Wapak faithful, both the student section and the adult fans
The band and the cheerleaders are outstanding and help make Friday nights exciting and special with lots of passion for our team
It is such a moving experience to see the students and band rush the field to meet the players after the game to sing the Wapak fight song .. Absolutely Love it!!
Challenge to the community to show even better support in the playoff games ahead
Because of the excellence of this team Wapak gets the privilege to host a first round playoff game for the third year in a row
Lets see the town turn out for the game as never before and be loud and show our support
Then travel to the remaining playoff games as we continue our state championship run
This team is special and deserve the same efforts from our community as they have shown in their dedication, preparation and excellence

Same town, same school lot of the same kids, so my question is, do you guys support the Volleyball, Cross Country, Basketball etc. etc. etc., the same way?

Especially the ones that win
When the girls basketball team made it to the state finals and filled up the lower section of the Schott it seemed like the whole town was there
It was the same scene for the mens baseball team when it made it to the state finals

4-7 (36.4%), 8th playoff appearance
Wapak finished 10-0 in 2015 for its 2nd straight unbeaten regular season, and its #2 rank was the highest in school history. Wapak won its first ever consecutive WBL titles this year. It has won 31 of its last 34 games, 28 straight regular season games, and 26 straight WBL games, which is the longest in the WBL since at least 1992. The Redskins are making their 3rd straight playoff appearance. The WBL’s playoff record is 97-66 (59.5%), which includes a 1-0 record against the Dayton City League – St. Marys crushed Dunbar on its way to the 1990 Division II title. WBL teams are 8-0 against #8 seeds in the playoffs, with Wapak having one of those wins. Wapak faced two playoff teams in the regular season and won both somewhat handily, beating 7-3 Celina 35-14, and 7-3 O-G 35-17.
Wapak’s average playoff score is 24.3 offense and 28.7 defense.
Wapak’s average 2015 score is 34.8 offense and 9.9 defense.
Dayton Belmont’s playoff resume:
First appearance
The Bison lost one game in the Dayton City League but apparently not all 5 schools play each other? Who knows what’s going on there. It’s a poor league and Belmont has no playoff history. Belmont faced one playoff team in the regular season and suffered one of its two losses, 41-8 to Columbus Hamilton Township.
Belmont’s average 2015 score is 34.4 offense and 27.7 defense.

The Dayton public and Cincy public combined to create one league, not all Dayton schools are in same division
