I'm listening to the Dodgers game right now and Billingsley is pitching, and with Niese pitching tonight it got me thinking about if there's anyone else from the area currently in the bigs.
Today is a great day for Defiance baseball with 2 former players pitching on the same day.

There's a guy from Versailles, Stammen is his last name, that is in the starting rotation for the Nationals.

Chris Carpenter from Bryan is currently playing for AA affiliate of the Chicago Cubs, the Tennessee Smokies. He's struggling this year(1-1 with a 5.52 ERA) but last year he was solid. 6-7 with a 2.82 ERA. Also gave up less than a hit per inning between low A, high A, and AA.
