I get so tired of this stuff.....but....

Seems some ppl are upset over the newest international Barbies to be distributed.

Most of the hullabaloo (sp?) is over the Mexican Barbie, which sports a chihuaua (sp? don't know how to spell it, either! lol) & a passport....mind you, ALL the international Barbies "carry a passport"......

Many have found that a chihuahua included to be offensive, discriminatory &/or racist...... and especially so since she's "provided with " her passport ( I would have considered it ' a rather thoughtful gift' lol) because of U.S. immigration laws.

I'm one of the most accepting individuals on this Earfth, but, I get so irritated when so many start to cry 'racisim/discrimination' over everything.......

btw....i don't know, but, was there an outcry with the talking Taco Bell chihuahua dog?

and also....if i 'member correctly, back in my day, there was a Korean Barbie that sported a cat or dog.... Now that would've been a more legitimate complaint, imo....

What's wrong with having cultural diversity in the home of "the Melting Pot" without all the constant bickering?!?!

1. That's probably how you spell "hullabaloo, but I'm too lazy to check it
2. The Korean barbie with the cat or dog would only be racist if it came with a recipie for cooking them

First thing I thought also. Since Slice once asked if you were a member of MENSA, I'll feel good about that.

How flexible are Barbies? You know what Mexican girls put behind their ears to attract the boys? (Can't answer on grounds it is probably racist)
