D2 looks to be a meat grinder for the next two years across the state with those bumps. OG has to be among the NWO favorites as they go back to D3.

Hagen, don't quit your day job....lol. OG is a train wreck right now. Star player quits before the season and goes to play volleyball. Coach is probably done after this season...imo

Well I did post that back in April, so it's easy to critique 5.5 months after the fact.

I'm honestly surprised anyone remembered RC still existed.

Despite being #11 of 13-team district, OG knocked off #5 Bluffton (3-2 OT), and #4 Liberty Center (3-2) to win sectionals. They're now 4-1-1 since 9/28. They face #2 Liberty-Benton next.

Outside of #1 and #2 seeds this was a very POOR #3-13 seeds. While I do feel OG was much better than their record (with better coaching). Hopefully they can turn the page and get a new direction in 2018.

Oh yeah Hagen, my bad not looking a dates of posts.

I completely agree that OG should've been ranked higher as most of those teams would've had similar records playing in the WBL. Riverdale and LB are definitely the class of the district and it would've been a surprise if those two didn't represent in the finals again.

I'd also say that this is a very standard Northwest D3 district with two top teams, a handful of good teams, and the bottom not very good. Looking at the Genoa and Ottoville districts, there's not much difference in breakdowns.
