I agree with you totally formercoach. However, the NCOSA league is not a very strong league so unfortunately that happens.

i find it to be a shame that CR might not field a team next year. I also believe that vb will in fact have a turn around year. We are returning tropf merrick and flick the 3 of witch have lettered both years. We have shroll and michale flanagon comeing back both strong in defense nad both letterd this year so we have youg talent. As for are older players we have sublet baker and may (thats about it becasue who knos if brendan baker will stay eligable well all of our golies for that fact) so we have talent and team work that we will put into use next season.

I'll have a dictionary, some commas, and maybe a Diet Rootbeer, to go.

So in today's words that would be spellcheck, word recognition software and a sugarfree Red Bull

VBs record should be better than the last two years but probably not going to be stellar maybe 8-8 or around there.

I look for VB to improve their record but I agree with 8-8. There is better teams in the area then VB.

I believe it will be better than 8-8 because most of the area teams other than VB are losing most of their starters. For example: LB is losing 15 seniors, while CR might not even have enough for a team next year. Ada poses a big threat to VB, along with Rdale, but with the current attitude that next year's team has, I feel good things will happen in the offseason. Don't want to talk too much, though. You know what'll happen then...

I think you could be better than 8-8 as well, I just dont know if it will happen. We'll set the bar low so if you over do it then its like hey, that team is better than we thought... but if you dont quite reach it then its like hey, its just Van Buren.... but like you said, we'll wait and see....... and Cory will have a team.

I only said that because the last two seasons have been lacking for VB...saw some great stuff from young players this year, and I believe that you can go better than 8-8, the only question is will you? But the honest truth of it is that the 2008 VB Varsity soccer team will probably win just as many or more games as did the 06-07 teams combined.

yeah, that's only 10 games. depending on who we play to replace CR and PG, if anyone, it could happen.

I dont think you need to worry about replacing Cory... as far as Pandora.... you'll probably go back to playing New Knoxville.... unless someone gets a crazy idea and schedules Otsego for you.

I just want to let everyone know.....CR, will have a team

Seniors:

John Snograss
Mitchell Ice
Sean Sewell
Caleb parke

Juniors:

Lauren Mattice
Cory Green
Steven Garver
Chance Stoodt
Eric Rosendale
Clint Walker

Sophmores:
Robert Bolwerk

Just the returning players will make a team. I have talked with several students from CR that are intrested in playing for the program next year. This, in my mind, is due to the success we have had this last season. And theses students are actually very talented so CR, in my eyes will not be a pushover. They def. will have a strong Defense returning John Snograss and Caleb Parke, both starters. Chance Stoodt, an upcoming junior will be very good as well. I have also heard rumors of a few kids coming from Arlington just to play on the team because they don't have soccer at their school. And also, I havn't even counted the upcoming freshmen that may be interested. So for everyone wondering, there will be a team. Def. not the team they had this year, but a team at best.....Good luck HORNETS!!!!

That's good news! No CR would be a disappointment. We'll see how they do without the senior class of this year... Looking forward to seeing them on the field. Also, they'll have to get a new coach... Good Luck with that.

Don't tell me it's going to be just like Ada does almost every year, and don't get me wrong, they are a good team, say that this is going to be their year.

And like I said on the double comma up in my double comma statement, Ada is returning some good players, I think they will be a team to watch out for in the NCOSA.
