It's that time of the year.

I'm interested in buying and selling.

Thank you.

If I knew (or could remember) who you are, I'd be happy to.

Please feel to stop by and introduce yourself. You obviously know that I'm not hard to find. LOL!

Thanks.

If this were 2005 or 2000 and say 10 even.....I MIGHT be corn-cerned. I don't know if the Pony Express has been by your little slice of paradise ;) to let you know yet, or not, but message boards are dead, or at best, dying. You could actually say that about high school sports in general as well. It ain't just "age" talkin' here, but it is NOT the same as it was even 10 years ago. You could set a bomb off at most games and not hit more than a half dozen folks. Sad, really. The attendance, not the uninjured.......

Will you be gracing us with your presence?

I only stop by to renew old contacts, most of which have long since moved along from these (and other forums) haunts.

Agreed about the expired shelf life of message boards.......but this is still a good place to bandy about HS sports.

As far as crowds go, they seem to be up this year at most of the games I have attended........maybe not to the level of 25, 30, 40 years ago, but up compared to the past several seasons.

I would like to see ticket prices drop for high school games. $6 a ticket with $4 or $5 for students is too high. A family of 5 pays $24 plus concessions to get in. This isn't a big deal if it is one or two games, but it is 22 plus tournament. It adds up to a lot of money and people are just picking and choosing when to go now.

Face value of state tourney tickets can be up to $15.00.....$6.00 is a bargain.

I meant regular season games, not state games. I do think they need to fight to keep those reasonable as well. I am very middle class, but it makes me think twice about $12 or more a ticket for 3 days plus other expenses.

Now that we're getting to that time of year again...the more important question rather than "you buying/selling" is: Where will everyone from Putnam County go each evening now that Nyoh's and Woody's have closed? Any word on Nyoh's new location?

There's NEVER a more important question than buying or selling?

I'm looking, if anyone has an extras available.

Thanks boys!
