2/13 is shaping up to be a big night in the area with some premiere matchups featuring 4 of the top 5 teams.

OG @ Archbold
Liberty Benton@ Ottoville

Minster @ Wapak could be interesting, too

Yes absolutely...alot of good basketball coming up in our area. Plus, with the tournament right around the corner, anxious to see who the best of the best are.

Ottoville beat 7 of the teams listed, and lost to Minster by 1. Actually, they will play nine of the 18 schools listed. If (and I mean if) they can beat beat L-B (which with be very difficult), they would have a great season, even with a loss. I hope these games will prepare them for a run in the tournament. But strange things can happen in D-4 girls. Everybody have a great weekend.

I am sure you are aware of this, but I will tell you any way. Tom Weber (Glandorf & OG), Don Altenberger ( FJ boys & girls), and Dick Kortokrax all graduated from Ottoville in 1951 when Louis W. Heckman was the coach. Three from the same class, amazing is it not? All very nice guys, knew them all, and fairly good coaches in PC.

Crestview beat Wayne Trace last night 57-33.
Knights now own a 9 game winning streak and stand at 15-6.

Much like the boys....the girls have made vast improvements.

Paige Motycka causally dropped another 25 points last night

Ottoville's 20-2 record is pretty good since they played most of the top teams in NW Ohio. I am very proud of all the girls and coach. Now let the tounrament begin. Tonight's game was a great for the playoffs coming up.
