Exactly what I predicted..The Lima boys that went to LCC would romp on the Spartans..Spartans Looked awful..Nice to see some of my old friends last night at the game..LCC to win state? Heres a question? How many times would Lima Sr have gone to or won State if they would of been D3 instead of D1 over the last 25 years? I would guess many.. Thats basically what LCC is now..I don't see anyone stopping them in D3

Villa Angela-St. Joe will definitely have something to say about the T-Birds winning the Div. III crown. Be careful before you start to assume they will roll through to the state championship because they are Div. III.

Yeah, if Lima Sr. played D-III they may have won a state at some point in the past 25 years. But remember, Lima Senior also has close to 550 boys to find 12 basketball players from to make a team, hence D-1. LCC on the other hand has around 150 to find 12, hence D-3. It isn't always apples-to-apples comparison when trying to compare a D1 school to a D3 school.

I think you missed Whodey's point. LSCC may only have around 150 boys enrolled. But they may be finding the 12 basketball players from a bigger pool than 150.

I didn't expect to see that outcome last night.

LCC, VASJ, CAPE, Mooney, etc. are all basically the same....
VASJ does cast a bigger net (ie: population) but with Iggy, St. Ed,
the recruiting wars are a lot more intense....I don't know
how many of you who heard the owner of 93.1 make
the comment about "this is coach kill's make or bust season"....
Pretty telling to me about the expectations for the remainder
of this season.......

If cost wasn't an issue. Which school would most choose Lima Senior or Lima Central Catholic?

If Dr. Q were to get the Senior job they all could be playing
D1 next year.....if not then a few will have to wait another
year until making the move.....

Did all of those kids come to LCC on vouchers? And did they all come from Lima Senior? (Careful, your ignorance is starting to show)

It isn't apples to apples comparing D3 to D3 either... :shrug2:

A more accurate statement would be that four of LCC's starters have Lima City ties...Bigger issue is, what Lima City Schools has to fix to get us alums that have taken our kids elsewhere, to return or not lose more..... And Corey Stewart has always been in the Catholic school system to my knowledge.
