If you mean Dennis Martin, this would be a great hire by MC and just reinforce that VB missed out on yet another chance to go back to their heritage.

If it hasn't been reported anywhere else yet.......

Bryan Kuhlman gets the nod

the application pool was indeed short and earlier reports of the MC brass making sure he applied
looks like they were true.......

congrats to Coach Kuhlman AND the MC hierarchy for keeping this under wraps

Kuhlman........home boy (IF he put his name in, it is his)...........cross this one off according to the patrons of the Buckeye Club at 7:15pm this evening

One of the many errors in this thread. Bryan Kuhlman has been named new Boys Varsity Basketball Coach.

Released to the media about an hour ago.

I don't get ya, mcguy....... you've been here forever, but, there's always so much disdain.... for being around so long, i'd think you'd have to like us somewhat; therefore, perhaps give us the inside details once in a while!!! style_emoticons/default/wink.gif style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif

Mcguy is an insider at MC. That's why he has so much hatred for this site...from Tmac leaving and even Pester leaving prior to that. People knew it before the Admin at MC. But McGuy just didn't want to believe it.

As for this hire. Congrats to Kuhlman. Watch out if he can do for MC what Martin has done for Leipsic Industry.

I know that this thread is a few months old, but we haven't heard much out of Miller City since the hiring of their newest head coach............
so a little update for our members.......

the summer season went fairly well for the Wildcats..........
pre-season conditioning not so much as MC has had at least 5 players who were on the roster from last year quit/retire/give up/not return ............
the numbers are extremely low and by all accounts there are only 12 total players in grades 9-12........now this is from a MC source, so I'm waiting on confirmation
from someone who watched this weekend's games..........

So the season gets off to a very rocky start for the Club 108 crowd although I did hear that the CYO team is loaded..........RM

That's not many kids when you consider freshman to seniors.....and only 2 seniors and 4 juniors......long season ahead......I wonder what the 'electician' thinks about this!!!!!!

MC wins two this weekend on the road to even their record to 2-2. The next 2 games look to be challenging ones as the wildcats travel to Leipsic next Saturday and host OG on Dec.20.

Uh, that would be 'correction', not 'clarification'. And from your own news department, lol.

My people tell me your corrected clarification needs corrected. Numbers go as so:

2 SR's
4 Jr's (one being an injured exchange student who has yet to play)
3 Soph
7 Fresh

Pretty thin #'s but it sounds like the freshman class has some talent...may take some lumps this yr but could pay off down the road, ala Continental a few yrs ago

If you think the numbers are down this year...wait til next year. These kids do not like this coach. I know players should not have any say in who coaches but if you don't have players wanting to play, you wont have a team. No team = no revenue.

From the outside looking in, it would seem to me that a 12-8 regular season this year for Coach Kuhlman and the wildcats would be exceeding expectations. Teams do not typically exceed expectations if they don't believe in what they are doing.

Either you are a player, or the parent of a player in which case coming on a forum and bad mouthing the current coach a few days before a tournament game is really mind boggling.

If you are not one of the above, then there is really no reason to believe you know what you're talking about.
