The hype for this game is not what it was a few weeks ago. Thoughts, predictions, players to watch........

I think Elida has taken a step back and OG is getting better and better. With the game at the Supreme Court I’m saying OG by 12.

Has anyone challenged the Titans at the Supreme Court this year?

Archbold early gave them everything they could handle in OG.

What does Archbold do well enough to battle OG?

Not sure about “challenging” although Lima Sr had them on the ropes for the better part of the game back in January. OG is a very good team. Elida is a good team. This would be an upset but Coach Thompson has a career winning record vs OG. A win Friday would certainly take the sting out of a season that didn’t go according to their plans. If OG thinks this will be an easy win, they better be prepared for the heartbreak.

Nobody in Ottawa is taking that game lightly ... anticipating a big crowd and OG will come out ready. Ty is taking it very seriously as always.

I believe Unruh is a similar type player as Williams and Elida should match up better down low, still no easy task. Quite certain OG is still feeling the sting from last year's district loss.

That night was Kaufman's first game back after having not been with the team since Jume. This OG team isn't the same team the Streaks saw that night. Teally don't see the Dawgs staying real close. OG has been lights out at home this year.

Elida is going to slow this game down and limit possessions, they can’t run with OG. Not sure if OG will get to 60.
Titans by 10 due to elida lack of scoring.

Elida will slow it down and try to turn it into a football game - hacking, stripping and undercutting. But, in the end the talent gap is too great and OG will win, probably by a decent margin.

I seem to have a pretty good handle on OG offensively :pickles: just not quite enough credit to the Dawgs and Unruh I guess. My question....how the heck does Elida put 73 on OG's defense and struggle to get to 50 so many games earlier this year??

Great finish by OG. First time since 06/07 that a WBL winner has finished 3 games or more ahead of the team in 2nd place.
