It is what several of us discussed before. The NWC is more balanced this year than I remember with the top 5-6 teams. LCC definitley the top but even they had a couple close games (Spencerville and Paulding)

My take on that is perhaps Columbus Grove has played its best basketball in the year earlier then what they should have been. Columbus Grove is one team that I will be particularly watch when the tournament starts, and a lot has to due with what happened to them last year. They struggled in the tournament right of the bat against Perry and even though they start off with a different venue and team, it still behooves me to watch if last years run was an amamoly or a trend to be continued through this tournament run. They played extremely well too early in the season and now they have to make the adjustments that other teams have made.

Grove graduated what, 6 or so seniors last year? A new coach this year? Are you trying to say Grove has a tradition of under achieving come tournament time? When so many things change from year to year, where does this tradition come from? How do you tell kids to take it easy during the middle of the season so they "peak" come toury time?
Makes no sense to me!

I know one thing - they are very good and very athletic regardless. I am pretty excited to see the Findlay district this year with the potential of Columbus Grove, Ada/Vanlue, Arlington and Leipsic. All are very good teams that can beat most anyone on a given night.
