Here's hoping everyone has a great Super Bowl Sunday....and that ANYONE BUT THE PATRIOTS....gets the W today. . If things go well, maybe next year the Browns will be playing in the big game.....oh wait :wallbash:

Just an FYI......Boys Selection Sunday is the 11th

D1
1. St Johns...still unbeaten vs Ohio teams....can wrap up the TRAC with win over Whitmer on Tues
2. Southview
3. Start
4. St Francis
5. Whitmer
6 Northview

D2
1. Wauseon 22-0 looking very likely
2. Elida...big game with Shawnee next week....still have Kenton and OG to come
3. Van Wert....Cougars have put together a heck of a run...may be tough out come tourney time
4. Wapak....host the Titan on the 16th
5. Shawnee....didn't put up much of a fight against Findlay...Indians have lost 4 of last 6
6. Kenton....at OG Friday...Elida on the 16th....chance for Cats to shake up the WBL standings

D3
1. OG...not easy the rest of the way...Kenton, Lexington, Wapak and Elida still to come
2. Versailles MAC title still very much up for grabs....St Henry and Marion Local still to come
3. Archbold....should have 4 easy W's on their way into the tourney
4. Anna....next Saturday....the rematch at Fort Loramie
5. Genoa....likely to win out...NBC just not real good this year
6. Cardinal Stritch...still not sold on their schedule but TAAC teams have had some tourney success in the past...though it's always been in D4
7. Upper Sandusky...win out and they Rams are Northern Ten champs
8. Oak Harbor

D4
1. Ft Loramie....Anna next Saturday
2. St Henry...giving the 'Skins a pass last night after a big game Friday night vs St Johns...and maybe looking ahead to Versaille and Van Wert next weekend
3. Pandora Gilboa...still not sold on the Rockets....would like to see them play some bigger schools
4a) Wayne Trace...huge weekend coming up for the Raiders
4b) Crestview....I had Knight fans throwing trash in my yard all night...hope this calms them down :)
5. Marion Local Friday at St Johns...Sat at Spencerville...Monday home vs Versailles
6. Kalida...offense struggling in K-town....at MC next Friday could be a tough one
7. Ft Jennings....Muskies make an appearance (though kind of by default)....PG in a couple weeks
8. Pettisville....I gave the 'Aces a shot at stardom and they folded...let's see if the Blackbirds do the same....games with Hicksville and Wauseon the next two weekends
0. Maumee Valley Country Day....not a fan of the TAAC...but they have a shot at making an appearance in the BG regional. Cardinal Stritch next Friday
10. Upper Scioto Valley....still no idea how they managed to beat the Rockets

.....special shout out: Liberty Benton.....for getting the W over the T-Birds in a battle of teams that used to be good :bag: :bag: :bag:

That's it.....like 'em or hate 'em Comment away foks....that's why we're here

Not sold on the Rockets??? They beat Ottoville & beat Kalida by double digits. They are going to win both of their conferences (I know their conferences are not very good) and they are currently sitting at 15-1. It's not their fault that they don't play bigger schools. I don't know how many times they beat teams by 20 plus points. If Pandora-Gilboa was not very good I would be one of the first ones to say it but this team is the real deal. If I had one bad thing to say about them it would be to limit the turnovers. I will also say though that come tournament time PG seems to be a different team (see last year) I don't know why that is but we seem to never play well. That is all I got. You have the BEST RANKINGS.

I didn't say they weren't good....they are good...just not sure if you can use the 15-1 record with their schedule to compare them to 15-3 St Henry and their schedule. I can't think anyone here thinks PG would have 1 loss if they played St Henry's schedule...the two aren't even comparable. I agree you can't blame them for who they play....but you also can't punish teams that play tougher schedules when they lose a game or two. Hicksville was 15-1 heading into last night....should they have been ranked higher because they have 1 loss? Heck no....the Ace's wouldn't have 10 wins playing the schedule that some of the other D4's have played.

Sheen....

You’re right and I agree......sos means a lot when ranking teams....I think PG is ranked about right, although, barring injuries or some other catastrophic happening I think Crestview will end up in your number 2 slot....the Knights just opened a can of whoop a$$ on Hicksville and I don’t see anyone slowing them down until Cbus......your entire list of rankings are right on.....definitely the best rankings out there.....dilly...dilly!!!!🏆👏👍

I agree with your rankings and PG should be #3 for now. I wish PG would be able to play tougher teams to see how good they are. I do however think they can at least make it to BG AS LONG AS THEY CONTINUE TO PLAY HOW THEY ARE but for some reason they collapse in the tournament.

I would love to see PG make it to regional.....Rocketman would love it also....defense will be the key and I think their defense is good enough to get them there!!!!!

Maybe their weak scheduling is part of that reason. Their district seems pretty easy as I’d say Kalida seems to be the only team that may give them a game. But scheduling tougher teams during the season does help you in tournament.

Ottoville is currently in 5th place in the PCL.........I wouldn't use them as a measuring stick.

Not doubting you....in fact, I'd say a Fort Loramie - Crestview state semi-final is a real possibility. I think the Elida District winner gets thru the BG Regional and moves on to Thursday afternoon at the Schott. They'll match up with the Dayton District winner...which could very well be Loramie, Marion Local or St Henry. There's a real good chance the State Champ comes from one of the Top 5 teams in this poll....which is why picking one as "better" than another at this point is so tough

PG also barely beat Miller City. And the double digit win vs Ottoville was a closer game than the score indicated. And right now they are a team who is struggling so no matter what measuring stick you are using it doesn’t matter. Until PG starts playing tougher teams or doing something in tournament they may not get much respect. I’d take probably 2-3 teams from the Elida district over PG.

This is why you can’t talk with Pom Pom wavers. The fact that you have only 1 negative thing to say and saying WE shows just that. PG has a nice team but not a great team. And you make them out to be just that. Don’t get me wrong, it just bothers me when someone comes on here and complains that their team is not getting enough respect. Respect is earned on the court not by people on rocketcorner.

If I recall Miller City beat Ft. Jennings. I'm not asking for respect I could careless what anyone thinks about PG. It's all opinions. I have nothing bad to say about anyone's teams. If your going to start calling me a Homer then you might as call everyone on here a Homer. That's rude and uncalled for. I have never once called anyone a name. PG is in the LB district so you saying 2-3 teams in the elida district could beat PG is irrelevant.

Then why did you get bent out of shape when someone said they were not sold on PG? Idk I just get this vibe that you are based on what you put on here but maybe that doesn’t matter. What does matter is that you can only think of 1 flaw of PG? I mean YOUR team? They are a nice time but not great like you make them out be and me saying that 3 other teams from another district could beat them is my opInion that there are better teams.

What league do you want them to drop out of so they have more options when it comes to scheduling?
