What in the world is going on over there?
I have heard nothing but complaining from parents AND players since the first day of the season. I heard last night at the game that Elida reported them to the OHSAA but got interrupted before I could hear why.

I knew it was coming. This was reported on the front page of the sports section of The Lima News.
You are only allowed 22 games in a season. Their athletic director counted an invitational as one game, by accident, when they actually play three in a day. That put them to 24 games, 2 too many. They are now ineligible for the postseason.
About a week ago, their AD started calling their opponents, trying to get them to switch games to a scrimmage, after they've already played. Needless to say, no one agreed.
I don't know if that is legal if one would agree to switch after the fact.

Who is the new AD I know Brenda stepped down but never heard who the new AD was. Man what a mess, this new person really screwed up some Seniors year.

Dick Heath is the AD according to The Lima News. Man, he's gotta feel sick.
You would've thought the coaches would have noticed it. I think they are first year coaches too, so inexperience hurt them I guess.

I saw that Shawnee had to forfeit the first Tournament game against VW because of this in today's Times Bulletin.
One would think an AD could be fired because of this.

You could fire Nardini, Wade and Heath in my opinion. (not necessarily because of volleyball)
I hope Heath has a good time looking those girls in the eye while he passes them in the hallway knowing he cost them the opportunity in the tournament.

This should never have happened. It's all on the AD as this is part of his job . Paid to do a job but didn't know the rules. Unacceptable in my opinion. I feal for the seniors on the team.

The volleyball coaches should've known also.
