A lot of teams in weak regions get in with 4 wins.

I thought the same thing a few years ago when I saw Columbus DeSales made it in the playoffs with a 5-5 record. There final record was 10-5 State Champs.

Never assume.

I hope the POTUS is not there at 6. Game might mot get played if that's the case. He needs to leave before that I hope!

I thought he was busy with Hurricane Sandy. At any rate, who cares.

I stand corrected. I should say a lot of teams CAN get in with 4 wins to be more accurate. DSJ and Ursuline come to mind among numerous others. A weak region definitely helps the case and the bottom part of R22 is really weak in terms of points.

Everybody makes fun of the NWC for being a weak conference...

How in the world does a 4-6 team from possibly the worst athletic conference (NWCC) in ohio make the playoffs?

I will say the NWCC with Waynesfield and Fairbanks is better than some of the worst in Ohio....now at least.

To answer your question though, R22 and R24 are just that weak in terms of points.

Back at it Dr Lou huh? You were bangin on the Tigers at the beginning of the season, did someone from Waynesfield steal your girlfriend or maybe a greaser from westminster street is dating your daughter. Get over it, W-G could have stood pat and stayed with playing the teams they have in the past, or they could have chosen to beef up the schedule. Throw some Gold Bond powder on that diaper rash of yours and shut the heck up. You are irrelevant!

Who is making fun of the NWC for being a weak conference? I for one think it is a very good conference, when Spencerville has the kind of seasons they have had the last 2 years and didnt make it to the playoffs, that says alot for the competition they play. Your dumba** comes on here and bashes other teams and conferences, but it gets you nowhere. I could rant and rave about why Waynesfield didnt play USV or Riverside, or even Hardin Northern or Vanlue this year, but I wont. Sure these teams had down years, but believe me they will be back. Its just a few years away, and you will see a change in teams from the area. Its small town football, everything goes in waves.

B&G - why didn't WG play USV and Riverside this year? They are in the conference? Why were there so many nonleague games this year for WG? I know Troy Christian dropping football late created one game - not sure which one.

Im not really sure why they did the scheduling this way. After Ft Loramie, Lehman, and Troy Christian joined everything kinda got out of wack. I dont know how the scheduling was done, but for instance W-G didnt play USV or Riverside, and Perry didnt play Lehman or Ft Loramie. Yes Troy Christian dropped out late, thats how the Tigers ended up playing Patrick Henry.

hahaha I have to give it to you guys...I honestly laughed when I saw these posts. Nobody stole my girlfriend and also, no diaper rashes lol I just don't understand how a team that's 4-6 gets in to the playoffs especially when that team is from the NWCC. I guess I could've looked at their schedule to see who the wins and losses were to but I'm too lazy. I just assumed since they're in the NWCC they were experiencing some weak competition.

As for who says the NWC is a weak conference, there's a lot of people who say that! Just look at any LCC thread here on the corner. Also, any MAC person who posts on here also mentions how the NWC is a weak conference.

And Finally for you, Blue N Gold, I believe if a team in a conference finished 8-2 and DOESN'T make the playoffs, that shows that the conference as a whole is weak lol

Just for the record... Waynesfield did "scrimmage" USV this past year and believe it or not, USV won that scrimmage rather easily. Good thing USV didn't play them in the regular season later on because I think it could have ended up the other way around. As for the scheduling this year in the NWCC... I think it mostly was due to the other three teams coming into the conference and certain contracts still in effect.

Waynesfield actually played a pretty beefy OOC schedule this year.

Delphos Jefferson
Mechanicsburg(down this year but generally good)
Patrick Henry
Dayton Christian(I thought they were overrated at first, but they appear to be solid at least)

Not to mention they added Lehman and Ft Loramie to the conference this year.
