The ref's had NO CLUE most of the night VB broke the huddle 4-5 times with 12 and only got called for it 2x, I didn't see any balls hit the ground that were called complete (and I had a pretty close seat).
LCC's receiver (Floyd) couldn't catch a thing, why wouldn't you just run jet sweep with him, use his speed since he doesn't have hands??
LCC's line was not physical enough to make big plays, the only ones they had were when they came unblocked
Congrats to VB, I hope you have a long run in the tournament this season

Don't recall reading anywhere that LCC was playoff contenders. The Delphos game was a tail of 2 games (they played the night it rained in Toledo and they had to finish Saturday). If that game was played complete of Friday LCC would have run away with it, they had momentum. Delphos came in saturday with a different plan and it worked for them.
Delphos played the best teams in the state (D4-D7) the last 2 games in Coldwater and Marion Local, and noone ever said they were a great team to begin with. They did what they needed to get into the playoffs and that was to win 4 games this year because every other team in their region was horrible as well
VB is a good football team this year and LB has been the last couple of years. Three years ago was "LCC's Year" to win and LB beat them because they played a great game and were more physical. I love being a part of the LCC community, but they are down and will be for the next few years (lack of kids coming out for football)

There is no such rule in high school football for "breaking the huddle with 12." that is a college rule. The better team won.

The better team Friday did win.
IF there is no rule about breaking the huddle with 12 then why did they call it 2 times, but not the other 3-4??

From what I've been told it's a "judgement" call..... if the teams breaks with 12 and the 12th player leaves the field in a respectable amount of time then it's not a penalty.... Take it for what it's worth and define "respectable" amount of time the way you wish.

That makes sense, plus, as stated prior, the refs seemed clueless half the night anyways. They were like Jr High refs trying to do a College game.
Good luck to Van Buren and all other area teams still playing

Based on your training as a fan or are you qualified in some other way such as you watch a lot of officiating on TV?

I'd like to know what the ruling is on this, because I've seen a fair amount of timeouts called ostensibly to avoid a flag.
