I think it might have more to do with all the distractions that have been following LCC...
I think the only people worried about "distractions" are old guys on message boards. The kids and coaches are concentrating on the game. Like a couple other posters said, give Van Buren some credit for playing well.

VB was the better team.....LCC did/has/is/will have continued distractions. They started last season after we predicted Coach Cooper was leaving. It has continued throughout the season and finally culminated in Friday night's defeat...what a so-called old guy says on a message board is simply an opinion....and as you can see, we allow you to express yours....unlike other sites such as the RC....thank you RM
What distractions do you think got the LCC players in coaches in such a tizzy that they couldn't beat Van Buren? Were the distractions in effect when they beat NWC champ Jefferson?

VB's 14.95 would have qualified them 8 of 13 times in R18 from 2000-2012. Had Bluffton been their typical 5-5 selves VB would have been at 15.75, good enough all but 2 years in that time span

I was there... No, it wouldn't have helped
Unless LCC has some larger linemen who missed the bus and coulda' walked to the game if it was home?
Time after time VB got pressure rushing only 3... even when LCC kept a back in to help pick it up.
