The results from the most recent election (today) should send a VERY CLEAR message to the current Elida administration. Here is my take, and take it for what it's worth.......the voters are sick and tired of the status quo. Yes, Diglia is gone but most still associate with him. The trust level is non-existent......but you can bet your bottom dollar that the "official" statement will be that we will get a group together and come back with another proposal next election cycle....

Will Elida Administration NOW listen?

Recipie for getting new school:
Tell taxpayers that is only costs a certain amount to have a new shiny school.
Wait one year.
Tell taxpayers you dont have enough money to run the dang thing.

According to today's Lima News Elida voters have voted down 4 levies in the past 2 years....which means the Elida
administration will continue to put it on the ballot and hope for a cold, windy, rainy day where they get low voter
turnout.....(ie: the lower the pct. of voters, the greater the chance of passing a levy of this type because the ardent
supporters will turn out no matter what)......So this is a shout out to the Supt. and BOE at EHS...."Help us, help you"
in your quest of passing the next levy attempt in May.....RM
