Atlanta Braves- They have great pitching and a really good lineup. With chipper jones back and heyward with addition uggla, the braves will be tough!
Phillies-Yes we all kno about their pitching, but have you looked at their lineup?!?! They need chase back healthy.
Marlins- They are improving, but they are not as good as the phillies or braves.
Mets- Their pitching is not good, their lineup has injurys writting all over it.
Nats- Maybe five years from now??? maybe

Phillies for sure. Starting pitching is too deep to lose. The Bullpen is a concern though, as is Howard's premature aging.
Chipper Jones, easily one of the top five third basemen of all time, is washed up.
The Marlins are the the only possible other challengers, but they have lost too much through free agency.

looks like the nl east leading phillies are falling a little. they are still in first place but that lead is getting shorter week by week. The braves are coming up fast, they have the pitching to get them into first place, their offense is struggling a bit but heyward is out. I believe when he gets back, the braves are going to take off. The marlins, mets and nats will remain the bottom 3 for the rest of the season. They have no chance at all to win this division.
