BG would be a good site to host girls as well...

Like was stated previously, St. John's has a date with the bulldozer, which is too bad because it is a cool place with alot of sentimental value. But I am not sure it is even outfitted for basketball, it is currently used by the wresting and gymnastics team. Here is a very recent picture.

I heard they curtained off the upper level of the Schott for the girls tourney to hide the empty seats...is this correct?

yes, the 300 level was closed........probably could have done it for the boys games this year, too.

My concern with that would be supply/demand which would lead to scalpers making a killing again.
