Well action will begin today at noon with the Fighting Irish from Notre Dame facing off
against their nemesis, the Fighting Irish from Notre Dame....yep, you guessed it....Cincy
Mt. Notre Dame vs. Toledo Notre Dame in what promises to be a very entertaining game...

Josh M. will be here later to give you all the updates from the second day of the CITC event
held here in Berlin, Ohio.....we wish to thank everyone here at the Classic for all the
wonderful hospitality that they have shown our team here again this year.....From Mr. Tom
Jenkins to the Berlin HS staff, the volunteers, and all the wonderful people who make this
event what it is today......THE FINEST high school showcase in the country!

From the venue, to the scenery, to the "out of this world" food, and to the teams and their
fans who are involved.......a very big THANK YOU!!.....Flounder and I mark this MLK weekend
down each year as something not to be missed. It truly is one of a kind. The outstanding
talent that is assembled is par none.....so, like I said Josh will be along later to bring
everyone all the updates while Flounder and I will continue to interject our thoughts on the
sights and sounds......

Each year on Sunday morning the person in charge of the music selection really steps up their
game also....I have been assured that today will include more "old time R&R" along with a
heavy dose of the sounds from Motown....I mean c'mon man, we are celebrating MLK weekend and
what better way to start it off with some Ella Fitzgerald.....

Good morning from the Perry Reese Jr. Memorial Center. The crowd is starting to file in for the battle of Notre Dame's, as Toledo battles Cincinnati Mount. Today's action will be good once again. This game should be a dandy, and later, we'll have D2 runners-up and #1 this season Kettering Alter face Pickerington Central, who is led by the best freshman in the state (arguably the best in the nation, #1 power forward in the nation), Bexley Wallace. After that, the #1 team in Division I will look to snap a rare two-game losing streak as Mason faces Solon, who has the #3 freshman center in the nation, Valencia Myers.

I have seen Toledo Notre Dame play once this year in a 56-14 trouncing of Fremont Ross. This game should have a nice post matchup between Kaayla McIntyre, who is headed to Toledo, and Naomi Davenport, who is headed to Michigan.

McIntyre gets one of two free throws and an offensive rebound on a missed 3-pointer by Copeland. McIntyre to Copeland for the layup.

Copeland continues her hot streak with another bucket. After a CMND miss, she tries a DEEP 3-pointer but it's no good. She's got 10 points. Davenport misses on the other end and TND scores again and is fouled. The free throw is no good and Davenport rebounds.

I'm joined in media area by Dan Olsen from Collegiate Girls basketball scouting services. Dan the girlsbasketballreport.com is one of the premier scouting services in the country. Dan is originally from Florida and kindly reminded me of Florida's trouncing of Ohio State some years ago. I kindly reminded him that Ohio State is 1-0 against the state of Oregon in National Championship games. :)

Copeland from the corner and she drains it! She's up to 16 after being held scoreless for nearly two quarters.
