Excited to get to Cbus and call this one on Thursday. Clearly there are aspects that teams have used to down these girls as they've got 5 losses.....hopefully Coach Yant and crew find it and keep up the winning streak into the Finals on Saturday.

So glad to see OG's girls have this historic run after all the negativity the past several years. I've always said you build from the youth levels on up. Some communities just whine about the high school varsity coach year after year. It's the kids. Get your youths playing young, work them up through the system, and the fruits of your labor will be there in high school. Especially at OG, where you have 3 junior highs moving into the high school, it's a great training ground to funnel talent into the high school. Very few D3 schools have that advantage.

Well the numbers coming up through the system aren't that great. No 8th grade team at OE, no 7th grade team at SPPS, only 7 girls playing at SPPS combining the 2 grades. No freshman team this year. Hopefully this tournament run will rekindle some interest in some of the younger girls.
