When completed it may give the OHSAA another possible artificial turf site for football playoffs.

I would think it might help with fan support too, if the game is in walking distance to the campus too. And like payne said they can hold OSHAA games possibly. Findlay is pretty centrally located in the area for alot of the playoff teams.

UF games will be fine.....but if they host a playoff game that brings in 5000 people...where are they going to park?

The article states that a street has been vacated and it also seems UF has been in an aggressive property buying mode. The projects overall footprint seems to take parking into consideration but who knows if it would be adequate for a tournament game. I have always thought parking around Donnell has been questionable at best.

Is it really even needed?

Private colleges don't always build things just because it is needed. They build things to put donors names on, or to attract students to the campus. If they run it like UC they can leave it open for the
students to use too. It definitely be a plus for the program to have the field on campus.
Parking at Donnell isn't really ideal, and the plan would have at least parking as close as Donnell. Plus some of the college kids
that drove to the games before could walk now and would take up less parking.

Gamekeeper....I'm sure nobody is worried about parking for the college games......it's playoff games that are hosted at Donnell.....or maybe at this new stadium. Donnell isn't good....especially if it's wet, you need a boat to park in some of the fields around the stadium. In looking at the plans for the new stadium it just seems like parking will be an issue....though getting in and out will have to be better....as Trenton is 4 lanes instead of 2-lane residential streets like Donnell has.

Donnell parking is not good. Reminds me of my old high school.
