USV went 8-4 last year, not only with their first playoff appearance, but with their first playoff win along with their very first conference championship in football. Coach Spencer has stepped down, and Coach Dustin Price has taken over the helm of a pretty solid team. They lose their all time leading rusher Austin Sloan who racked up over 1,700 yards rushing last season, and their main threat at the WR Chase Rose. They also lose two pretty good lineman Payton Dyer, and Isaac Smith, along with LB/WB Trey Freytag. Sticking around is a pretty good QB Jason Moots, and WR Wayne Lowery. A pretty solid line anchored by Dakota Dunifon, and LB Kolton Keith. They have tough games against annual playoff team Ada (they haven't beaten since 1997), Div IV playoff team Ben Logan, Div VII playoff team Sidney Lehman, and a tough Riverside team. Not that any game will be easy but those will be especially tough. It was great to see all the support for the USV Football Rams and hopefully another conference championship and a playoff berth....Go Rams
