[Maltese Falcon]

Not a high school, but a tournament venue, the Stroh Center at BGSU holds 4700.......pretty much the same as old Anderson Arena, except now there is more than one restroom for each gender.

I was thinking the same thing. I would really think its bigger then that being a newer gym.

I knew this was brought up before, just didn't want to take the time to find it. I had forgotton though that NW Ohio Guy was the one who brought this topic back from the dead the last time. Good lord, that turned into a sh**storm, and somehow I was accused of being from or associtated with PG schools. lol

It appears not all the answers we were looking for can be trusted in that thread, a lot of goofy numbers and guesses being thrown around.

No kidding! It doesn't matter how big your gym is, just how well you use the atmosphere to your advantage. OG is the first that comes to mind, I mean how many times have they sold that gym out with there following? And they're not even close to having the biggest gym.

Forget about gym size, but is Ohio Northern the worst gym ever to hold a Regional Final? Spectators sit about 1/2 block away from the floor in the dark! Of course, maybe that is on purpose!

It does look like it holds more than 900 but I don't think its as big as you may think. I believed some say it holds 1450 like you said but in all honesty I think it may hold 1200-1300 if that I mean it looks smaller than PGs and they hold 1500-1600

I just found a source that has many area gyms on it. The sizes seem to be a little larger than what they really are (or atleast I think) it says Fort Jennings is about 1550. It also says P-G is about 1700. The comparison seems realistic though

Anyone got good pictures of some area gyms??
