Continentals baseball diamond is coming along really nice may be one of the best....Continentals softball diamond is really nice as well...MCs field used to be nice but for a year or two it had went down dont know what its like anymore...I personally never liked to play on Kalids dirt either...

Continental's baseball field has came a long way but the softball still has some work to do. The rest I am going by the last time I was there which was a few years ago. Grove used to have a nice field when I played, all clay. I hated 0-villes due to the stone, not sure what they have now. FJ and Kalida were both dirt but OK to play on. Pandora- have not been there in years, was bad. Leipsic used to have a decent field also and I believe has gotten pretty nice but have not been there. MC's is ok but has a nice lip on the grass infield. Did I miss any?

i agree with joe's comment, continental's field is in great shape now, the coaches and the others have put a lot of time bringing it up to shape.

Miller City-nice facility

Ottoville-aka Stone Quarry nuf said

CG-not too bad

Fort Jennings-also not bad excpet for the knee high outfield fence

Pandora-havent seen their field in a while

Leipsic-also agree in went downhill

Leipsic's was horrible a couple years ago. Reason, I believe they had some water lines or something of that sort that needed fixed, replaced? and just happened to run thru the ball diamond

thumbup1.gif I have had the opportunity to see several of the softball fields over the past couple of years and I think Continental has one of the best in the PCL. However, the outfield needs some work as there are a few rough spots. Kalida's softball field is nice too, really kinda scenic down in that valley. Ottoville's baseball diamond looks like something that Fred Flintstone & Barney Rubble would have either worked at or played on!

leipsic had to tear some of the outfield up but has that all fixed now. they've hauled in new dirt last year and has replaced alot of the field with new sod. the infield has all new sod and most of the outfield. that purple on the fence looks pretty good too. and they got a new scoreboard maybe a year or two ago

I went to C-town for the town fest, and the diamonds were stripped, it really looked good, who did the stripping and how.

The striping was probably done by Bob Quigley who helps maintain the field and does a good job. I don't believe Coach Miller's mower stripes but I could be wrong. They just use mowers that have the capability of striping. Takes a little longer but looks really nice when done properly.

Yes labatts, bob quigley does stripe it. It does take a little bit longer, but he does it for the kids!

As for softball fields, I would say that MC has a nice field with the new dugouts. Continental has a nice field to but I have heard the out field is a little rough. Leipsic has a nice infield but no out field fence, just like Pandora.

I would have to say MC has the niciest field by far with the grass infield, and yes, Ottovilles is terrible.

I don't think they have the best by far. What about the lip on the infield? MC's is nice but not the best by far.

That will be a change from years past. Hope it turns out nice so we have another quality field in the PCL.

miller city - just okay.. nothing special

CG - probably the best by a longshot.. deep fence but smooth infeild.. good grass and dirt.. awesome dug outs

continental - has come a long way. getting better still.. just a mediocore field.. better than miller city.. but miller city atmopshere is better because of the general set-up.. c-town is too close to the road and just too much going on

ottoville - just okay

OG - actually terrible for being a bigger school
