Interesting...

Are you being snarky or is that your way of saying she scores goals?

Not hating on her so much as the coach. Winning a game by 4 goals (late in game) and he still has her charging the goalie in the game I saw. She collided hard into the goalies elbows and received a concussion. Not a good way to keep your best player healthy and also jeopardizing the goalie. There comes a time to back off when the game is in hand and let your star live to fight another day.

She plays hard and is utterly fearless. She received a concussion last year on a goalkeeper collision, but in her defense she should've been awarded a penalty for the challenge. Soccer is a physical game, those things happen. Not a fan of changing the was a player plays for the small chance an injury happens.

So with a 4 goal lead late in the game you have no problem getting her hurt at a time when the younger players could have gotten some experience. I am having trouble reading your thought process on the collision. Should she have gotten a card for hitting the goalie or are you saying it was the goalie's fault? Please advise.

The game I was referred to was last yr vs FJ. She was fouled by the FJ gk but it went unpunished and she received a concussion. I didn't see the play you refer to.

Of course I don't wish injury to any player. Younger players could work harder in the offseason to earn playing time. I see no fault in not pulling her if she wasn't already previously injured.

I am referring to this years game vs DSJ. The Delphos Herald photographer really captured the seriousness in a series of photos. The referee decided to not make a call and let the game play on. I have no knowledge of the game you mention from last year. I also do not wish injury on any player and have noticed a trend this year of refs who swallow their whistles. Best wishes to your team of choice and let's hope for some cleaner, crisper soccer.
