They did get caught by all of the other teams in the NWC, That's why they have no conference.

Since they were "caught", did the NWC schools turn them in to the OHSAA? If they were "caught" there was obviously evidence. Wouldn't being turned in and sanctioned solve the "problem"?

No....they have no conference because the NWC teams were tired of losing

I've been told that if you repeat a lie often enough, it becomes truth.

If LCC wants to difuse this debate they should publish an anonymous profile list of students who attend there with financial aid. The list would look like this:

16 yr old female. Activities: Student council, Band
17 yr old male. Activities: Football, Basketball, Baseball
Etc.

A list like this would reveal much, or nothing at all, while keeping the students privacy.

If you say, "Why should they have to do this." I would say that if they have nothing to hide, it will help prove their point. In fact it should have been published with the ADs letter

More of the same..."I know for a fact" crap. Show us the letter. Tell us who talked to these people. All these accusations are made without any proof to back them up. Show me.

"Letter: LCC obviously recruits jocks

I am writing a rebuttal to Mr. Ron Williams’ column article about Lima Central Catholic High School. In particular the section about LCC not recruiting.

The father of two of my grandsons was approached by a person at a football practice, some time back, wondering if he would consider having them attend LCC. The father replied that they were not of that faith and the tuition was too much. He replied “We have a place for those boys in our sports program and we can work out the tuition.”

My daughter, the mother of the two boys, received a letter in the mail to the same suggestion months later. Now remember LCC does not recruit."

Now why is it always the grandfather or the Uncle, Aunt, Cousin, Neighbor......yet NO ONE can show proof???

Hard to believe Allen East has had any players that would have been difference makers at LCC

I'm confused, it seems that LCC is no longer in the NWC? Did I miss something?

I,m just asking a question is their students still transferring to LCC on vouchers for a better education after lima senior has two pretty good coaches their now for football and
basketball.

My son was playing baseball for LCC and my younger son (7-8 at the time) and I were playing catch and a coach from two other schools said to me, "you need to get him to our school" (I am not saying school names because it doesn't matter). This is recuiting correct?? Should I contact the OHSAA?? or write a letter to the paper saying the same thing??

The above "letter" issue from Rick Harrod is bogus.
Did LCC stalk your grandkids to get their names and address to send the letter to you?
No somehow someone willingly gave up that information

I bet there were 1000's of letters sent out to families by LCC just as I get them from Elida, Shawnee, Spencerville and Lima City talking about how great there school is and why we should send our kids there. Every school does this and will continue until open enrollment is no longer, which I don't think will happen any time soon.

First, I'm sayin those are probably Lane Bryant panties. Secondly, if they make "Monford Files" into a movie, who plays Eddie? Brian Keith? Alan Hale?

LOL. He can "guarantee" that no one ever talked to a (athletic) kid about coming to LCC?
