Would not be shocked to see NB win both of those. They have enough experience and length that they should be able to hold both games under 50

What’s going on at LB? Why so bad this year? Has to be the worst Eagle team in over 25 years at least

Not much talent is what I've been told. I agree I never seen a eagles team this bad.

That “Broom” would foul out in the 2 quarter....NB isn’t that bad. They’ll be competitive come Tourney time.

North Baltimore isn’t that bad. The losses to Toledo Christian and Maumee Valley aren’t that bad. TC has wins over Ayersville and Anthony Wayne and they nearly beat Cardinal Stritch. Maumee Valley has a kid who has visited both OSU and Michigan and those coaches have been to games if Twitter is accurate. They beat Bowsher and have blown out several other small schools. The loss to Van Buren on the other hand looks bad because of the blowout. I am not sure if they were missing guys or it was one of those nights. It is still way better than most NB teams I have seen in recent years. They aren’t a threat to go to state, but could pull an upset and win a District game.

LB is still really struggling. I saw them once and they are not nearly as talented as past teams. The football start couldn’t have helped. Next year becomes very important to right the ship and not turn this into a trend. They still looked like an LB team executing, but missed a ton of easy looks the game I saw. I did notice a few younger players on the roster.

I thought NB was the underdog going into both matchups. However if they won both I would not have been shocked as they are very capable of being a good team. They just dont bring it every night out.

If Gazerk would go down to the post and demand the ball NB could be real scary. Not many bodies can match his. However he's content to float to the arc and jack up treys.
Shocking that an NB player is just doing what he wants regardless of what is good for the team.

A lengthy thread on the d4 Elida district. This district also feeds into the BG regional. Some interesting matchups.

Miller City- Pandora- Gilboa Tues. 3/6 6:15

Kalida- Columbus Grove, 3/6 8:00

Kalida and PG are slight favorites in each game, but MC and/ or Grove could just as easily be in the finals Friday night.

What were the results of these matchups in the PCL?

Really won't be shocked no matter how these games turn out. I can see either MC or Grove pulling off an upset, though in my mind, I'm calling the Grove / Kalida matchup a toss up. Kalida offense not being able to get out of the 40's has been an issue all season. If Grove can get a lead and get this one into the 50's I think they move on.

Same thing with PG / MC....PG kept the score down the first time....I think to win it MC needs to get the game into the low 60's.

Charlie I agree on the tempo for MC (needing the game to be in the 60’s)....this could be a great one! Kalida will win the other game in my opinion, but I think Grove has made some nice strides as the season has moved along. You never know though!
