Well the titans should have two returning position players anlong with one returning starting pitcher other than that they should be pretty young.. Could be an interesting year for the Titans

If the young kids can come thru this season, the Titans may improve on last year's tourney run. The next 3 or 4 years could be real interesting.

their pitching will stuggle, they only have 1 or 2 pretty good pitchers..the rest are really young and will probably struggle this year

can someone help me out here?

I need to know if the player you have been talking about since last summer has played in any of the games
OG has played yet?.........I have shut down another thread waiting on further information on this situation.....
If he has not played yet, I would most likely agree to having the thread re-opened for additional discussion.....
thanks zooom

Kids!!!

Maybe a little more practice, and a little less posting on the RC would help.

This Titan team has some magic with senior Drew Ellerbrock, rookie Aaron Halker and senior Alex Selhorst. Throw in the much ballyhooed Casey Schroeder (who is now playing and a ss) and a up and coming young catcher.....what a win over Celina....Nick Miller is doing a fab job with a team of no expectations! Goooo Titans.....GOOO Cubbies !!!

I haven't made it to any games this year (mostly because I don't want to brave the crappy weather that we've had this year) but the record is mediocre right now, at best. Nothing against Coach Nick Miller, but the people that wanted to get rid of Stan Myers and thought he was the reason OG baseball was being held back are probably re-thinking their position. It is apparent baseball is just not a prioirty at OG right now.

Nice group of freshmen contributing...

I saw in the paper the freshman Warneke pitched a 4 hitter against Continental. Also, freshman, Schirloh pitched against Napoleon. Freshman Zender is now starting in outfield. Might be good times ahead for the Titans

OG beat Bath tonight.....5-3 in 10 innings. Matt Warnecke gets the win going the final 4 and giving up 3 hits.

Wasn't there....but from what I heard, Bath coaches questioned the batting order before the wrong OG batter took a pitch. Ump checked it, noticed OG was out of order and OG sent the right batter to the plate. If Bath coaches would have waited until after the pitch it would have been an out. Not sure when it happened, but from what I heard, it would have given Bath the win???
