Wowser!.....got up this morning to let the dog out and she wouldn't leave the garage. Had -8 with a nice soothin wind....

I parked in one of the farthest empty parking spaces at work yesterday. Somebody asked if I was nuts. I told them walking a little extra in this stuff builds character.

Though it's not supposed to get as cold as earlier, the temps are still headed the wrong way as far as I'm concerned.......the Riley is frozen over and the ground is hard as a rock.

Looks like the Polar Express will hit the area tomorrow night.....-8 with -30 wind chills....that's damn cold folks!

So we're headin' to Slicers to make sure she doesn't freeze to death after 6:00pm Sat.

My stupidity cannot grow any more. It's tapped out.

I typically do not bring kegs of beer to work. Maybe a cooler in the backseat every now and then but typically not a keg.

Don't worry 'bout me. I learned myself last year to not leave my beer out on the porch in such conditions.

Well Flounder and I are back home after spending the night at slicer's....we were very concerned she might lose power due to the extreme cold and were there to do whatever was needed to keep her from freezing....looks like a warmup is on the way and thoughts of lounging poolside is near.....

This warmup doesn't look like it's gonna happen soon enough.....another couple of cold, cold ones still in store for this part of Ohio........

Think warm. High School baseball starts Monday. Of course, we can't go outside for about a month though.

Hunker down folks....record lows tonight.
Started a fire about a week in the fireplace and haven't let it go out yet......Slicer must be doing all right with her newest toy all revved up....
