By now everyone has heard that Fostoria St. Wendelin is closing their doors after this year's graduation. I know their statement said they would continue to have a K-8 facility in Fostoria but not sure how long that will last if parents are proactive and find a permanent home for their kids. Many of the kids are Fostoria area kids so I would think Fostoria public schools would get a good portion of these kids but some went to SW specifically to get away from Fostoria public schools. The closest catholic school is Tiffin Calvert but that is about a 20 minute ride away.

Some will make the travel to Tiffin Calvert or Fremont St. Joseph's, but I'm guessing the majority from the western side of the St. Wendelin "district" will go to their local area public schools. I was told that a large percentage of its students were from the Findlay area.

Hopefully the OHSSA does the right thing and forces these kids to sit out a year .....

I'm guessing Arcadia will reap the benefits of this closure.

Or Carey, or Old Fort or Hopewell, or Lakota, or Fostoria, or Calvert
I don't know....Call it a hunch but.. I would be willing to guess it depends on where the kid is residing as to where they may go. ???
