Got a wedding to go to Saturday. A few thoughts:

There are 52 Saturdays in a year. Is it that hard to miss big sports days, like March Madness, state Championships, Ohio State Football to name a few?

It is at St. Henry….(boo)

There are 650 people invited….been told the hall holds 600. Could be interesting.

Of the 650, I might know 100. Will be lots of drinking though!

The bride is my neice.

Could be very emotional for the brides family. Her mom died about 5 years ago of cancer. She had a beautiful voice and sang at many weddings. The bride has accumulated some recordings of her mom singing and will play these at the service.

I don't need to drink alcohol to have fun. I need to drink alcohol to make other people fun.

I wonder how many times a Yahoo! employee is out with his friends and they want to look something up and hears them say "Hold on, I'll Goog...uhh...Yahoo it real quick."

Son #2 is having real mother-in-law problems...and he doesn't even get married until July. I guess it was time for him to find out how manipulative women can be.

A "Musicians Friend" catalog came in the mail today for me, with Slash of "Guns N Roses" on the cover. My 7-year-old daughter asked if I knew who Slash was. I said, "Yes. Do you?". She said, "Yeah, he plays guitar on Phineas and Ferb".
Yeah, I bet that was the first thing they mentioned when 'G n R' got into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
