Just a day after being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.
Part of his induction speach:

“No wwe talent becomes a legend on their own. Every man’s heart one day beats its final beat. His lungs breathe a final breath. And if what that man did in his life makes the blood pulse through the body of others and makes them bleed deeper and something larger than life then his essence, his spirit, will be immortalized. By the story tellers, by the loyalty, by the memory of those who honor him and make the running the man did live forever. You, you, you, you, you, you are the legend markers of Ultimate Warrior. In the back I see many potential legends. Some of them with warrior spirits. And you will do the same for them. You will decide if they lived with the passion and intensity. So much so that you will tell your stories and you will make them legends, as well. Ultimate. You are the Ultimate Warrior fans. And the spirit of the Ultimate Warrior will run forever!”

I don't remember which Wrestlemania it was-but the one where he beat Hulk Hogan was EPIC!!!!

Other wrestlers hated him for along time because he stood up a "Make-A Wish" kid, seems like he tried to make peace with them recently. Might have sensed his days were numbered.

Believe it was 6 but thats been a few years ago. I would guess steroids were a contributing factor but still sucks either way.

A little bit of my childhood died today, but as long as Rick "The Dragon" Steamboat is alive most of my childhood remains.

Sidenote- I cried when Macho Man hit Steamboat over the throat with the ring bell.... Mean Gene was announcing "Steamboat is swallowing his tounge"... I was crying like a baby... Dad says (Between slugs of Old Mill) "You can't swallow your tongue dum***, so stop crying and grab me a beer".

So sad considering how much of a high he had been on the past couple of days.

Rest in peace Warrior and thank you for the memories.

I'd rather shower at Penn State than root for Michigan.

Another sidenote- in 1987 while pregnant with me, my mom met and talked with Steamboat's wife at an event in Fort Wayne. She was ALSO pregnant. Doesn't really matter much at all, but but it's kind of cool.

I don't watch wrestling at all anymore, but this makes 2 of my 3 favorites from when I was a little kid that have died in the last few years(Macho Man and Ultimate Warrior). My 3rd was Hogan. Hey, I was a little kid, I didn't understand wrestling feuds lol. I just liked those 3.

The HOF ceremony was on after RAW Monday night and I DVR'd it. I finally got time to watch it last night. The Warriors speech was given at least a third if not closer to half of the hour show. I have read different wrestler's say that they thought something wasn't right with the Warrior at the Ceremony. After watching it, I would have to agree. Something just seemed not right. I really feel for his two young daughters. Being someone that has had a child later in life, this kinda hit home. I'll close this with RIP Warrior, you were one of my favorites.

Did anyone else notice that he essentially gave himself two eulogies? One on Saturday was for his daughters and the one on monday was more for all of us fans.

At least he got to get the closure with things that Savage among others never did.
