No matter what the NCAA would have you believe, college football have a long, rich history together. Now betting isn't restricted to what happens on the field -- one gambling website is taking wagers on who the Ohio State Buckeyes will hire as their next coach.
The staff at the Detroit News has listed the odds for five candidates, as found at Bodog.com. Urban Meyer, to nobody's surprise, is the favorite at 3-to-2. He's followed by Florida State defensive coordinator Mark Stoops (5-2), then former NFL coach and current ESPN analyst Jon Gruden (3-1). Nebraska coach Bo Pelini (10-1) and Michigan State coach Mark Dantonio (12-1) are longshots.

Unless the NCAA limits TV appearances for the Bucks, which I do not think will happen, there is no way networks (Especially the BTN) not show the Buckeyes on TV. Too much money at stake for the networks from advertisers

I haven't been up by campus, but a few of my friends said they saw him on campus. Seems like a done deal, but probably won't be announced until the end of the year and this is about the right time to do it before they have to file it publicly via state taxation policy.
