The BVC doesn't have a soccer league.

i believe that the bvc should try to get a socer league. most of the teams already play each other in the regular season anyways. the only problem i can see is that there are only 4 teams (vb, cr, lb, ang pg). pg is in the pcl and i believe vb and cory are in the ncosoa. lb is in the lowly mssl but i believe they would love to get out of that in order to get a stronger schedule. it would make sense for them to join the ncosoa but i've heard that they dont want them.

I think there would have to be a minimum of 6 BVC schools to have soccer in order to form a league. And LB isn't in a very tough league right now, but the NCOSA wouldn't be an improvement for them so they are better off staying in the league they are in.

man fan, i'll have to disagree. lb's league is probobly the worst league in nw ohio. the only other competition is genoa. but i'd still rather see a bvc league...maybe would encourage some of those other schools to get a program

I agree, I would love to see some more BVC schools get soccer. But out of Vanlue, McComb, Leipsic, Arlington, Arcadia and Hardin Northern I just can't any of those schools getting soccer any time soon.

Arlington would be the only school out of the 6 that would actually have the interest to get a high school program going. Hopefully the community will start pushing for a program. But just like C-R they will get alot of football people saying soccer will ruin the football program and it will take awhile to get the program started. I think it took C-R about 8 years to get a program started and Arlington would probably take just as long. So if the kids over there really want to play H.S. soccer in next couple of year they should move to another school.

hmmm...i wonder if there could be some miscommunication from the ad. wouldnt be the first time. socer players are looked down upon at lb and some of the people in the school system have made that clear

Liberty Benton has never mentioned playing in NCOSA. They are content in the world's worst league.

id have to disagree. i hate that league, there's absolutely no competition and it makes for no fun. i think they're jv team could win the league hands down. lb needs to strengthen its schedule so it can go into the tournament having played some quality teams and have the necessary experience to get out of sectionals for once...

I no that LB beat cory rawson (i think). but the game was pretty close. 3-2 cory came back with 2goals and almost a 3rd if there was more time and lb scored 2goles in the 1st and the 3rd one in the 2nd qr so lb has some compatition if they join bvc soccer

lb was easily the much better team. if i remember correctly the score was 3-1 but it was also one of the windiest games of the season. the eagles had the problem of playing down to their opponents all season long

LB beat CR last year 3-0. They were the only team to shutout CR all year.

BVC needs only half of the teams that are currently in the BVC to form a new sports league. That has been clearly stated. From what I hear Arlington is good with their club soccer programs, so we could see it very soon. As for LB soccer, they might be in a bad league, but when it comes to tournament time, they are ready to play.
