St Paddy's Day hangover + lady next to me on typewriter = pounding headache at 90 words per second...

Ouch.

Annoying facebook things

People wish a "Happy Birthday" to their extremely young children on facebook. Give it up.

Also, when they do the "Dear facebook," or "Dear WSU Admissions Board", or the "Dear Dell Computer," posts. Drives me insane.

So -

Dear Annoying Facebook Mother,
Your kid is NOT on facebook. Your kid can't even read! It's like me going into work or the bar and saying "Happy Birthday to my 4 year old son" in Sign Language. He's not at work or the bar, so why would I say it there. And if by some chance he was there, he doesn't know sign language so he'd have no clue what I as saying. Get it? Stop now, please.
Love, Mo

I might be alone on this but I absolutely LOVE "As Seen On TV" infomercials. Not the half-hour-long ones, just the one-minute-long ones. I just can't get over how difficult they can make the most mundane tasks look. You need the Yard Sweeper thing so you don't have to drag the tarp of leaves around your yard. Then they show the guy tripping and pulling the tarp over himself and then flailing around like the trap was going to smother and kill him. You've got people that can't keep a blanket on when changing the channel, people that can't scrub their feet in the shower, people that can not get a girls unless they're three inches taller (yes, taller, it was for shoe-lifts!), cans of soda spilling all over the place, etc. I guess I just see the ridiculousness it in all that I look forward to watching them!

Max Tall
Look how sad the guys are when they're short, then how happy they are when they're tall. And of course, the guy towards the end with the girl - CLASSIC!

I would like to see it if the commercials didn't look like they had hijacked my childhood memories of innocent Smurf's.

You know the TV show "Frasier". Frasier Crane is rather snobby and has a taste for the finer things in life, along with his brother Niles. Their father, Martin, is a regular Joe. On occasion, Frasier is able to suck it up and sometimes grudgingly joins his father for a beer at a dive bar. He's always rather uncomfortable in this setting. Did the writer's of the show, the producer, or even Kelsey Grammer himself forget where the Frasier-character came from?! He sat at Cheers in Boston and drank nothing but beer every day!

When I was much younger, I felt like a man trapped inside a woman's body. That all changed when I was born...

I like bribing my kids with ordering in pizza for dinner. It's a tool to get them to be good, but it's really pizza for me.

How do they place babies into different weight and height percentages? I swear, all I ever hear or see is that everyone's kids are in the 90+ percentile in height and weight and they're all going to be future All-Stars in every sport. I don't get it. Isn't there such a thing as a law of averages?! Where are the kids that are in the 40th percentile?

Either way, we get it. You're baby is Goliath or Xena. Doesn't make them All-Pro's. It probably just means they'll have to spend a little more on clothes from the Big & Tall store.

You know how girl names that end in i instead of y seem hotter? You know..Cheri is hotter than Sherry, and Tami is hotter than Tammy....

My wife waited on this guy she hadn't seen in a couple of years...and he was totally dressed as a woman. He no longer had an account there-so she had to ask for his drivers license to verify....and he had changed his name from Randy to Randi........

Her and her co-workers laughed about that all day.

If stores really want to make money, have the 50% off sales before Christmas. I dont need all this crap afterwords. Are the store managers really that bad that they over order every year.

Why would a mom name their child La-a [on birth cert] and pronounce her name as Ladasha. Pretty much guarantees the child will have a lifetime of counseling.
