Edgerton must be the real deal as they pounded Pandora-Gilboa 52-8. For the season Edgerton has outscored their opponents 616 to 74 through 12 games. Doing the math, that is over 50 points per game..
Grove lost a heart breaker in double overtime to Seneca East. Tough to lose like that, but Seneca East is pretty solid.
McComb beat Leipsic again, but it was a lot closer this time. So it is down to 1 team left in the BVC.
The GMC has 2 teams left in Edgerton and Fairview. I look for Edgerton to move on, but not Fairview.
The Mighty MAC is down to 2 teams - Coldwater and Marion Local as both teams advanced. The Flyers were too much for LCC and Coldwater avenged their loss to St. Henry. I think they can't win two games in the same year over Marion Local.
Two WBL teams advanced to the regional finals in St. Marys and Wapak. The Riders pounded Van Wert while Wapak ground out a tough win over Fenwick. I think both St. Marys and Wapak will have their hands full this weekend.
Crestview took out defending state Champion Minster 28-14. I thought the Knights were very physical and that proved to be correct. They now play Fort Loramie who lost only to Minster in the 1st game of the season.
I have listed 6 games and as you can see, the records are tremendous - 131 wins vs. only 13 losses. Fairview is the only team to crash to party as a #7 seed.
Division VII Region 28
#1 seed For Loramie (11-1) vs. #2 seed Crestview (11-1)
