Draft lottery tonight won by...

CLEVELAND!!!

Cleveland lands the #1 pick for first time since LeBron James, and also gets the #4 pick. The #1 pick they have is the pick they received in exchange for Mo Williams (while also getting Baron Davis). The #2 pick goes to Minnesota, #3 goes to Utah (who moved up because of the lottery as well) from the New Jersey Nets in the Deron Williams trade. Then, of course, Cleveland gets the #4, too.

So, Kyrie Irving to the Cavs? Perhaps Derrick Williams, too? Hey, first and fourth overall is pretty darn good, even if the draft is the weakest in ages.

Thoughts?

Like said on ESPN, no game impact star players, probably going to draft 2 role players.....
You'll be proud of our young people in the classroom, in the community, and most especially in 310 days in Ann Arbor, Michigan on the football field. - Jim Tressel

Irving has a shot at being a good piece, but other than that nothing big. May raise their win total from 19 to 30 or so, but next year they're right back in the lottery.

They were really hurt by Sullinger deciding to come back. Didn't really think he was going to be great, but he is. He'll help whoever ends up with him immensely once he finally goes pro.

I completely agree. I really can not see Irving or anyone else in this draft making a huge impact for any team. Sure, they can be decent role players, but I just don't see the star potential. I hope for Clevelands sake that Irving can become an All-Star, but it is just too hard to tell right now. The kid only played 11 games at the college level, so it is hard to tell what to expect from him.

Sully will not help anyone "immensely" in the L.
