Hey Rocket, thanks, good to hear from you. Ottoville should be pretty good, there is always Kalida too. Also looking forward to girls, OHS should be very good. I hope you are enjoying the warm weather, I sure am out here.
Hi Von. Good to hear from you. Kalida is going to be a tough one to beat this season. Grove is gaining experience and will be fun to watch. Leipsic has a lot coming back and will be very physical. Ottoville lost some good seniors but will have the best player on the court with some good talent around him. That boy can play and I would love to see their 6'7" kid jam a few against us. That would keep me watching the game rather than socializing. The PCL is going to be a toss up and I'm hoping to beat FJ to stay out of the basement.

Last week I was visiting Green country and sounds like the Lady Green will have 4 very strong seniors and a sophomore that's an all around athlete. I would love to get out my Big Green shirt for a trip to Columbus. We will struggle in both boys and girls but have some younger kids that may help in a couple of years.

PG won 25-13, watching on channel 44 Grove struggled to establish any type of running game
Grove blown out again tonight. Man they are bad. Friends of mine say the coach is a total idiot and has Hillary Clinton disease. He blames everyone but himself for losing.

The bright side is Grove will be good in basketball and track.

Great, many they can join the PCL or NWC...
Von, don't give LCC any ideas. Lol. There's 3 PCL teams that would give LCC a run for their money next year, Kalida, Grove, and Ottoville. We are a year away from competing against LCC but unfortunately that's in girls basketball. I'm hearing the boys numbers will be really good again. Looks like the new coach is keeping them interested.

Even though you lost a lot of talent to graduation it sounds like the girls will be the favorite in their district. I'm always up for a great Lady Green tournament run. My friends like to get out their wallets so I didn't have to pay for a single drink last February or March.

11? What is your “friend” including all the youth and assistant coaches or something? Generally how it works is if you get a new head coach they bring in someone they want. And those youth coaches and some assistant coaches are voluntary so .. I don’t even know what the big deal is. Coaches in all high school sports come and go. Mostly on their own terms so why does anyone even care?
I'm with you on this one Mysterio. When he gets a few beers in him he starts babbling.

He would have been talking 7-12 because he said there's only 1 coach in the entire junior high programs that has been there longer than 1 year. If my memory is correct the junior high programs would include volleyball, boys basketball, girls basketball, boys track, and girls track.

Any truth that 1 coach left on his own free will to go to a lesser job at another school because he got tired of the parents?

MC is fast becoming the “Ottoville” of coaching graveyards....not sure who’ll they be able to snooker this time.
Went out with a good friend from Ottoville this weekend and he named off 11 new coaches. He even thought he may have missed 1 or 2. All of this within a year. Wow. I thought we had it bad but that is ridiculous.
