Perry and DSJ keep it rolling. Four schools from little old Allen County to Columbus in the past two years... Let's get 5 Elida! Will be loudly cheering on all these boys! Proud of these kids!

The Lima News has a predicament. They've always jumped on the St. Johns bandwagon when they get to state....but now they have a couple hometown teams playing. If Perry and St. Johns both win on Thursday, they may have a riot on their hands in the sports department about who gets the bigger story on the front page on Friday morning. Then throw in Elida and they may have to run two editions to keep everyone happy. Lucky for them, it's a good problem to have.....hope all the teams do well, makes the area look good

Actually we can only give you 1/2 Allen County. Van Wert County gets the other 1/2.

Though Delphos has never claimed to be part of it, I think a small sliver of Delphos resides in Putnam County

Jefferson high school is in Van Wert county. I don't think any part of the city of Delphos is in Putnam county. We're right on the line, though. It would be interesting if Delphos ever annexed the homes "north of the border". You'd have people living in Delphos but also residing in the FJ school district.

I want a DSJ Perry final in D4 sooooo bad.. Just as a testament to these kids and communities.. Home grown talent competing at the highest level... So St. Johns folks.. Don't be alarmed at the guy in the Lima Senior gear yelling like hell for your kids!!
