if true, not really a shock to me or anyone who knows liberty and their recruiting efforts the past 15 yrs or so..........probably next to Toledo whitmer right now, the best that money can buy.....think of them as the Miami heat of the ohsaa.
Send us all those names. This is the 3rd time I have requested this......Crickets as usual.

And what is really pathetic, if this kid went to McComb like many people were stating, would they be accused of recruiting? But if he did go to LB,it's now LB recruiting. Love it!

So when is the televised event, " the decision", going to actually take place? Possibly WTLW 44, hometown stations Tv and rocketcorner.com would show up.

I think his parents are divorced so one just needs to set up residence in another school district and he lives with them and he is eligible to play right away as long as his primary residence is in the new school district.....happens all the time in bigger cities in the state....who knows maybe some LB backer would give his parent a "break" on the rent too? Just saying it was funny how when LB girls won state a few years back all they needed was a point guard and one just happened to "move in" to the district at just the right time.
Caitlyn was un happy with the direction the Van Buren program was going. Her mom was hoping for a basketball scholarship and thought LB was the best choice at that time.

LB has 5 of the top 6 players returning next year. Team did get to the district finals.
Not agreeing with the LB having weak players returning. They have 3 kids that play AAU. They had 3 sophomores start last year also and all three are returning as starters. I would put LB's sophomores agains Arlington's sophomores any day.

Posty....always the comedian.......I love the "talent is not that robust right now" comment. If memory serves me correctly, that talent at LB (1 senior) won them a share of the BVC with Posty's Red Devils. So if the talent isnt't that good, what is he saying about Arlington? Arlington beat LB in the early regular season, but had the game taken place at the end of the season I guarantee the game would have been a lot closer. The Darnall kid made a huge difference when he made it back to the LB lineup. LB loses 1 player to graduation and will return a plethora of sophomore talent to match up with Linhart, who will be 2 years removed from ACL surgery and IMO a lot more of a threat.
With that said, the Garber boy would be all the wiser to stay at the 'Lue. By moving he is sending a message to potential college suitors that he is willing to jump ship when things don't "go his way". We all know that the majority of recruiting is not done during the high school season, so how de does this summer with his AAU team will determine his future. He will have already committed to somewhere by the time the basketball season starts next year.
It is true that Vanlue's coach was at LB prior to going to Vanlue, but he was an assistant with the girls team at LB. IMO he only coached to make sure his daughter's scoring opportunities were not taken away. He left for Vanlue after her senior year at LB.

I think LB was fine before the Darnall kid came back. When I watche the Darnall kid play against Lue - not impressed. Why did it take him so long to play this year?
