. If you don't like how I do my rankings, then move on and don't look at them.

baller.....

If this would happen then your big head would shrink and you would feel like maybe you don,t know as much as you think.....believe me.....if you would not receive negative replies then you would think that maybe you aren't doing these rankings right.....posts would dwindle and pretty soon you would be receiving no replies.....hence...so long rankings.....just feel fortunate that us posters have a thicker skin than you do.....you piss people off and they will forget you.....just like they forgot Capt. Brinn!!!!!

By the way....Rocketman, Jonestown Benny, and Flounder did probably piss a few people off, but we always had a knack to inject enough humor that our posters returned.....in our day it wasn't uncommon to have 8-10 pages of posts.....some negative, some positive, but all fun and meaningful!!!!!!!!

I’m not high on Wayne Trace. They got beat pretty handily by Lincolnview who just lost to Ottoville Kalida and Van Wert.

Baller, just remember everyone is a critic. There is no perfect ranking on here by anyone. Even the so called “experts” on here that claim they put a lot of work into it, are not entirely accurate. Its just opinions and everyone is entitled to them.

Mysterio, i completely agree about opinions. However, flounder says things as if he knows who every person is. He must be a so-called expert.

baseballer....you haven't been around very long....and you sound like you're pretty young. Not trying to sound like a parent and tell you what to do, but.guys like Rocketman, Flounder and Johnstown Benny know more about HS basketball than you could ever hope to. You really have no idea who these guys are.....and you just make yourself look silly when you come on here trying to argue with them about their opinions and basically everything they say to you :)

Everyone puts their pants on one leg at a time, and I used to work at TV44, so I know quite a bit about this area.
And I used to work at Victoria's Secret........but that don't mean I know anything about wings!

Cool, real mature for being the "administrator"
Ok, let me re-phrase it.....I like TV44 and WOSN.....they've done a great job in promoting HS sports in our area. Their staff (the ones still there) do an admirable job with their limited resources. But when it comes to KNOWLEDGE about the game of basketball they're still in the backseat. I've said that I can't argue too much with your rankings.....you seem like it's hard when someone disagrees wit you but you'll get used to it.....and thanks for saying "I'm cool", it's been a long time since anyone has said that to me.......zooom

I know this sounds crazy, but it is an attempt to steer the conversation back toward basketball......Antwerp beat Wayne Trace tonight 46-45 @ Wayne Trace. I think we can safely exclude any GMC teams from any of the rankings for awhile, unless Hicksville's 7-1 record can hold up in d4.

Rocketpuff:

and if your services and website were so successful then this is a good reflection of a graveyard only brought back to life b/c one gentleman baseballer did a ranking.....

i completely LOL at recruiting services throughout the nation....lol that was the funniest thing.

I stuck to my roots of volleyball and softball thank you very much. I only did basketball b/c i was approached by SCOUT.com to purchase my website and join with them to do a high school section for volleyball and softball. They said hey why you are at it....take a plunge into basketball too. OHSAA also had been in contact with myself for interviews and rankings.
So don't waste your breath attacking my services.

The only reason people are on here (including myself) is b/c its -5 degrees outside in NW Ohio, bored, and JJHUDDLE is essentially gone to maxpreps. So apparently the "people in the know" no longer "know."

Wow......were you one of the dudes on the telephone during their telethon.....I guess that says it all!!!!!

I might want to add that those 60 replies mean very little when over half are from baseballer.....and many were from posters trying to help baseballer out........and with that......addios amigo!!!!!!

Let me just say this, i played basketball in school unlike most of their workers. So try again......

Wow, you actually played high school basketball! Really! Well in that case please forgive any of us that would have the audacity to question your in depth expert basketball analysis! Really, a real life high school player. Amazing! Yea three years of JV and some coach screwed you over and prevented you from legend status! A real wannabe!

flounder, i know who you are now after being told last night, and your athletic ability is like Squints from Sandlot. So, your comments can no longer be taken serious.
Dufus, i am guessing you were in the band and played the skin flute while your mom watched, making sure you did it right.

If you put rankings out expect criticism. The problem is you think you are the greatest and then criticize the critics "hiding" behind a screen name. That in itself is very comical.

Pickle juice,
Never did we say anything about your rankings being out of touch. And yes, you're 100% about how far we've fallen compared to the mid-late 2000's when we were killing it here at the RC.....no question about it. A lot of different media became fashionable, I retired and moved to Florida for awhile, and my attention span got a whole lot shorter among other things.......we WERE the best at ranking teams in both boys/girls bball as evidenced by our STELLAR results year after year......you might not have liked all the attention and accolades that we received but we received them nonetheless.....the RC began as an alternative to JJ's and their rules, here as you can see we have very few.....will we ever return to our glory days? ....probably not......are we dying like "the failing NY Times" as our POTUS likes to say?.....probably not.....do we need younger blood here on the RC?......YES!.....Flounder, Falcon, myself and others are getting closer to heaven all the time so it's kinda nice seeing someone with a little spit & vinegar joining in on the conversation......thanks zooooom

I don’t care who you are, if you played the sport or not, or know the area, bottom line is that unless you go watch all the high school teams play on a regular basis, your rankings can’t be taken serious. I’m sorry. But too many rankings on here are done by people who only see certain teams 1 or 2 times a year. It doesn’t take someone who played the game to understand who’s good and who’s not so stop preaching about ones background. It takes people willing to go to the games and having logic behind their rankings

I for one are glad to see some basketball topics being talked about, the site has been to quiet for awhile. it would be better if people would talk about teams they have seen play in relation to rankings and cut back on the personal attacks. I fear if everybody keeps up the constant attacks we will get less and less basketball talk on here. I think there is always some dissent in any poll no matter who makes it but at least it makes something to talk about and I appreciate anybody who takes the time.
