So we've reached the half way point. The Know It All's wre beginning to hit their grooves. The race is tight and it is too close to call. Much like the playoff picture right now. Things will get clearer as the weeks roll on.

Not much whit on this guy's fingertips tonight. It's down to business. This is no laughing matter. We have a job to do. We have to educate you on who's going to win and why. Lets get on with it.


Results from week 4.

Josh Morgret scores our first PERFECT WEEK. 10-0

Jamie Baker was right behind at 9-1

Dave Boninsegna was 7-1 (too bad he didn't pick the PG and Leipsic games)

Kevin Oberhaus, Joel Miller and Jordan Strack respectable at 7-3

RM, Kyle Timmons and Eric Kastner stayed above the Mendoza line at 6-4

Lima Central Catholic over Delphos Jefferson - Gotta believe LCC will play
with a ship on their shoulder against their former NWC foes.

Genoa over Eastwood - It's only Week 5 but this is for the NBC championship.

Perkins over Huron - Unbeaten so far and playing very well, the Pirates make
the Tigers walk the plank.

Wauseon over Liberty Center - Wauseon appears to be on a roll right now.

Lake over Woodmore - Lake's defense has been tough so far and they'll take
care of the 'Cats.

Perrysburg over Napoleon - Should be a great game in the NLL this weekend.

St Francis over Lima Senior - Spartans are getting better but they aren't
quite there year. Mike Fell will get them there though.

Southview over Anthony Wayne - Southview beat Findlay; Generals were
throttled by the Trojans. 'Nuff said.

Carey over St. Joseph - St. Joseph won last year; Blue Devils return the
favor at C.D. Wentling Field.

Ada over Bluffton - Both teams had trouble scoring points and it's been
awhile since the Pirates have been able to knock off the Bulldogs.

4-0 Genoa.....going with the home team

4-0 Perkins....ditto on the home team, but also the better team

4-0 Wauseon.....Indians looking forward to the Pats

3-1 Napoleon......toss up in my book, going with the heavy paws of the 'Cats

3-1 St Francis....a few short years ago this would be a 60 pt. blowout win........not this year, but the Knights get the win

2-2 Southview.....Oberhaus knows I don't have a clue on most of the games this week.......well, this is one of them

3-1 Fremont St Joseph CC......mini upset

3-1 Ada .........Ada will be smarting after last week's loss.....Pirates much-improved but the home team prevails

Lima Central Catholic... I predicted LCC to run the table until playoff time. They lost a few weeks ago but think they get a big road win here.

Genoa... Eastwood is 3-1 but Genoa is good. I mean, really good. They roll here.

Perkins... Huron lost to Bellevue in Bellevue's first game on their new turf on a pick-6 with less than a minute left. Perkins wins here to set up HUGE game with Clyde next week.

Liberty Center... I like Liberty Center to get a nice road win here. They had Patrick Henry down at halftime last week but couldn't muster anything in the 2nd half.

Lake... Woodmore got a little bit of reality last week with a big loss to Eastwood. Lake has really surprised me this year and I think they pick up a quality road win here.

Perrysburg... Perrysburg gets a close home win here. They win it with a touchdown in the last two minutes of the game.

Toledo St. Francis... Lima Senior did upset Fremont Ross last week but did so in an ugly fashion. I think St. Francis gets the win here.

Southview... I gotta take Southview at home. I think AW struggles on the road.

Carey... This is the game I'll be at this week. SJCC struggled on the road in week 1 and I think Carey gets it done at home here.

Ada... I like Ada big here, maybe by four or five touchdowns. Bluffton has lost two in a row, including only scoring six points last week.


Kevin Oberhaus....Pretty fly for a white guy....

LCC.....The Tbirds show the JeffCats a few things about football. DJ has had a relatively soft schedule and it gets exposed.

Eastwood.....I'm gonna try to pick up a game on the field here. Could backfire horribly but I think the Eagles might have what it takes.

Perkins.....The Pirates are just better.

LC.....Tigers are mad after the loss to PH. Sexy Rexy fires up the crew and the roll into Wauseon and give the Indians their 1st L

Lake.....Woodmore got exposed last week at Eastwood. Lake has a great offense and they fly past the Wildcats

Napoleon.....This one is tough for me. I'm a Wildcat dad so going with my school. PBurg is tough though.

St Francis..... The Frannies continue their great start.

Southview..... The Cougars were picked to win the NLL. The speed of Southview shines.

SJCC.....Crimson Streaks continue to roll after getting rolled early at Lake.

Ada.....Easy

3-1 Eastwood @ 4-0 Genoa Eastwood - Genoa just hasn't been tested yet. Eastwood's been through the trenches.

3-1 Huron @ 4-0 Perkins Perkins - toss up game for me here.

3-1 Liberty Center @ 4-0 Wauseon Wauseon - would not be surprised if LC picked up the win, but...

4-0 Lake @ 3-1 Woodmore Woodmore - can they bounce back after the loss last week? I say yes.

3-1 Napoleon @ 2-2 Perrysburg Napoleon - Cats surprise here.

3-1 St Francis @ 2-2 Lima Senior St. Francis - Lima Senior is improved, but not to this level.

2-2 Anthony Wayne @ 2-2 Southview Anthony Wayne - Generals are tough. Southview overconfident.

3-1 Fremont St Joseph CC @ 2-2 Carey Carey - better than their record.

2-2 Bluffton @ 3-1 Ada Ada - another toss up game here.

GENOA-Comets have won 62 out of the last 63 regular season games...Eastwood is the only team to beat them during that streak...won't happen this year though..

PERKINS-Bellevue is the common opponent...Perkins beat up on them...Huron didn't...

WAUSEON-They've been a great surprise...I think LC will be their biggest challenge to date...but I like Wauseon at home...

LAKE-I think they're for real...they've got a shot to be 5-0 before they take on Eastwood & Genoa in weeks 6 & 7...we'll learn a lot in a short time...

PERRYSBURG-The Jackets have grown from the early season losses against CCHS & Whitmer...Napoleon looked really good on paper but just haven't lived up to the standard I set for them..

ST FRANCIS-Knights are coming off an emotional win over their rivals...Lima Senior is VASTLY improved...but I think SF will wear them down..

SOUTHVIEW-Cougars are the team to beat in the NLL...As long as they're not looking ahead to the Perrysburg game in Week 6 they'll be ok..

CAREY-Again...NO idea why...Just think they'll get some revenge for last year..

ADA-I know Bluffton needs a win badly...but I think Ada bounces back from a tough loss last week..

3-1 LCC @ 4-0 Jefferson - Jefferson has the home-field advantage, but LCC will find a way to get the victory.

3-1 Eastwood @ 4-0 Genoa - Mike Vicars built the Comets into a formidable program. Even though he's at Delta again, Genoa just knows how to win.

3-1 Huron @ 4-0 Perkins - The two teams have a common opponent in Bellevue. Perkins beat them, Huron didn't. I'll take the Pirates.

3-1 Liberty Center @ 4-0 Wauseon - I took Liberty Center last week against Patrick Henry. I want to take them again, but I think Ty Suntken of Wauseon will help keep the Indians unbeaten.

4-0 Lake @ 3-1 Woodmore - Mark Emans (former Wauseon mentor) has Lake playing well, but I think Woodmore is the team to beat this week.

3-1 Napoleon @ 2-2 Perrysburg - Wildcats just reload every year under Tory Strock, but Mark Delas of Perrysburg will lead his team to the victory.

3-1 St Francis @ 2-2 Lima Senior - Surprising Spartans are on the rise under Mike Fell, but St. Francis gets the "W".

2-2 Anthony Wayne @ 2-2 Southview - Cougars got off to a slow start but have bounced back nicely. I think Southview slips past the Generals.

3-1 Fremont St Joseph CC @ 2-2 Carey - This one could go either way, but I guess I'm leaning toward Fremont St. Joe.

2-2 Bluffton @ 3-1 Ada - Bob Olwin (former Fairview/Versaillies/Lake mentor) knows how to win football games. His Bulldogs top the Pirates.


Eric Kastner....All around good guy (destined to finish last) or so the saying goes....

3-1 Eastwood @ 4-0 Genoa - Genoa has another thing coming, as that cupcake schedule has not prepared them. Eastwood surprises most and wins this one.

3-1 Huron @ 4-0 Perkins - Huron lost to Bellevue, Perkins beat Bellevue. I’m taking Perkins!

3-1 Liberty Center @ 4-0 Wauseon - Wauseon In a close one!

4-0 Lake @ 3-1 Woodmore - Woodmore shocked me last week, I figured they would play with Eastwood. But, they didn’t do so. I’m taking Lake ..

3-1 Napoleon @ 2-2 Perrysburg - Perrysburg has obviously played a tougher schedule. However, I like Napoleon’s chances to win by a few scores in this one.

3-1 St Francis @ 2-2 Lima Senior - Lima Senior is sitting on the outside looking-in right now at the #9 spot in Region 6. Senior needs this one and they’ll get it!

2-2 Anthony Wayne @ 2-2 Southview - Southview is playing pretty good football, and will get over the .500 mark with a win this Friday.

3-1 Fremont St Joseph CC @ 2-2 Carey - Fremont SJCC will head to Carey and start 2-0 in the MAL with a win over the Blue Devils.

2-2 Bluffton @ 3-1 Ada - Neither teams have played to their potential yet, but I’m going to have to take Ada in this one.

3-1 LCC @ 4-0 Jefferson
Jefferson had been a nice surprise this season, while LCC is just LCC; the T Birds have alot of speed and if not contained at the line they are trouble. This is the last harrah for these teams. I think LCC will win, but the Jeffcats will put up a good fight.

Eastwood and Genoa could be for their league title. We saw Genoa last year against OG in the playoffs. Could be a close one again but lets take Eastwood.

3-1 Huron @ 4-0 Perkins
Both teams can put up some points, but against lesser opponents, this will make it an interesting game. I'll take Huron to give Perkins their first loss of the year.

3-1 Liberty Center @ 4-0 Wauseon
Both teams did very well in the first state polls of the season, but Waueson did a bit better. I am taking them for no particular reason.

4-0 Lake @ 3-1 Woodmore
Woodmore is coming off a loss to Eastwood, while Lake remains unbeaten as they will after Friday.

3-1 Napoleon @ 2-2 Perrysburg
Napoleon, 3-1, is coming to Perrysburg Friday on a roll. The past two games, Napoleon has outscored Rogers and Northview 90-0. Perrysburg, 2-2, blew out Bowling Green 42-2 last week.

Napoleon has outscored their last two opponents 90-0 and defeated Perrysburg last year in a squeaker. Napoleon should continue their dominance maybe not this week, but they still get the win.

3-1 St Francis @ 2-2 Lima Senior
Mike Fell has the Spartans headed in the right direction. Last Friday, the Spartans defeated Fremont Ross 13-12 to even its record at 2-2 and have a chance to finish with a winning record; however St Francis comes in #4 in the region. Gonna be a tough one for Senior, gotta give the win the TSF.

2-2 Anthony Wayne @ 2-2 Southview
Southview lost their first two games this year before bouncing back to beat Findlay and Springfield, while AW lost to Findlay and Columbian. Wayne is on a won/lost/won/lost and if following suit should have a win, but I am taking Southview to get number three in a row.

3-1 Fremont St Joseph CC @ 2-2 Carey
St Joe leads the league in team offense and defense, that is a recipe for a win.

2-2 Bluffton @ 3-1 Ada
Bluffton better be ready for pass, pass , pass and if that doesnt work Ada might try to pass. I like the Bulldogs to got to 4-1.
