Did a little wading today down on the Riley Creek and the fishing was excellent!

Hooked 4 smallies and a couple of largemouths in just over 2 hours. Water is clearing
up nicely and the fish are hungry after a long, cold winter even for them.

Largest smallmouth went about 2 lbs but boy was it fun out there today after being cooped
up in the house since before Thanksgiving......Catch and release only and I did see a few
fishermen fishing for crappies below the Bridenbaugh dam.....a great day and hope the weather
stays nice for a long, long time......RM

I love biggies, smallies and in-between-ies!!!!
I LOOOOOOOOOVE fishing!!!

I'm soooooo looking forward to dropping my line into a hole somewhere this year as the last few years haven't been kind to me health wise so I've missed out on fishing and gardening/canning, which are a " few of my favorite things", as Julie Andrews would say. :D

May everyone have success while dropping their hook, line and sinker this season!!
