vb seems to bring the worst out of people...lets be nice.... whistling.gif

Funny that defending a team is conceived as being nasty, but the original, completely wrong accusation is not....oh well.

Well i dont' know about you. Being a coach i would never ever get into the face and pump my fist in the face of an opposing player and talk trash right in her face. Thats 110% unprofessional. LCC people are tired of people like us? Well get use to it. Because thats how it will be for a very long time.

To elaborate....I meant in terms of knowing the game and motivating. If the event in question did indeed happen (as I have read about many times), I believe the coach has replied also on this forum and possibly on huddle. Not having seen the incident in question I can't speak to either side of the truth, but from what I have read, he might have gone overboard or his actions were misinterpreted. I have coached and know the the young lady involved. I believe that he also may have coached her in JO. It is always nice throwing jabs at the girls who you have coached in JO, when you see them during the school season, but each coach must know limits.

Goodluck, Britney ! LCC, Crestview, and Grove won't leave much room for anyone else.

LCC has kind of come on recently in terms of volleyball over the past 5 years.

They definitely joined the conf at the right time for them. Crestview has been sliding as compared to what they used to have in volleyball over the past 3 years. It would have been nice to see the Crestview of old versus the LCC of new.

Got to see Jefferson play one night at the Elida summer league....I know it's only summer league, but DJ looked much improved and playing confidently. Grove also looked like they'll be their usual solid team. Allen East was struggling, but it was summer league and don't know if they were missing people. Heard that Spencerville scrimmaged Elida a week or so ago and took at least 1 game from them.

Haven't seen Crestview, LCC, Ada, Bluffton, Lincolnview, or Paulding. Any word from anyone?

LCC and Crestview are your top 2 teams.

With Nedderman back for Crestview and their incoming freshman...wouldn't be suprised to see LCC pushed to the end.

Now, with the NWC season over, congratulations to the T-Birds on a third consecutive championship. As predicted, Grove, Crestview, and LCC all took it down to the wire with Grove and LCC being the 2 vying for the championship. Good-luck to the Birds as they continue on to District Finals on Saturday. And best of luck to Crestview and Ada as well as the tournament trail moves one step further.
