Don't normally comment on my own team, but my boys deserve some recognition for what they did tonight.

We led the defending State runner, with 9 returning starters, 1-0 at the half. They drew level on a penalty. We went back up almost immediately. In the end, their overall qualIty shone through, but we had em bottled up for a long time.

I often think that in my 14 years at Riverdale that we get overlooked as being a quality program & it's nights like these that we can hang our hats on.

We graduate Chad Pever & his 23 goals & one great keeper in Austin Clark (wonderful tonight in keeping us in this game) but we return 9 solid starters & a good stable of underclassmen.

Please forgive this old man's ramblings. Peace!

Ya there are a lot of schools out there that are overlooked for the quality of their program and it mostly pertains to the smaller ones. It's unfortunate that these schools, including yours, don't get more recognition.
No object is mysterious. The mystery is your eye.

I've always had your back, Toffee. You are a model program and I can see how well the community embraces your work as a coach and what you have accomplished over the years. That is what I wish to have my kids going into....

Straight up 53 and 37. Seems like a morning jog to me.
