I did not see that up at the top of the topic...my bad..... I think that we have to toss Ft. Jennings, Riverdale, and possibly Ada there at number ten...

Well Kalida plays most of the WBL and couple other D2 teams. So schedule is usually pretty challenging. fish2.gif

But the better teams in the state arguably don't play in NW Ohio

I Know that the NCOSA teams (VB and CR mainly) play most of the big dogs from the PCL (Kalida, Fort Jennings, Ottoville, Miller City)

Riverdale play Miller City, Continental & Ft. Jennings again this year after a few years missing. Only reason they no longer play Kalida was through a scheduling snafu. Also play Anthony Wayne, Bluffton and LB. There are some "not so tough" teams on the schedule, but most of those are league games and cannot be avoided.

You wouldn't be saying that the listed NCOSA teams play MUCH tougher schedules than others would you?

Agreed wholeheartedly that NWO is not a scheduling powerhouse when it comes to DIII Ohio soccer.

Why is Cory Rawson number 2? Who you trying to impress from CR? Ada will be who the NCOSA should watch out for next year. Them, and Riverdale.

Ada? Who scores after Clum and Vaughn are shut down? Defense took a huge hit as well. Will still be the bridesmaid in NCOSA.

Ada, thats a joke right......... After we all saw the way temple christian abused them last year. The only thing ada has is a decent keeper, clum, and vaughn.

Cory has the most core returning in already weak NCOSA, I dont know how deep they will run but they should be the best NCOSA team, Ada is very good as well, but the NCOSA is at best, an average league this season and I would not be surprised to see Van Buren back in the top 3 or 4

Fairly ceratin that Cory is graduating everyone notable except for Mitch Ice. Lot of offense gone, very good GK gone. They were very senior heavy (9, I believe). Of course, this really means nothing. All teams graduate good players and all teams have to cope.

And I also think VB will be better than most think. You'd be remiss to count them out. I have no specifics, but just a hunch.

I am saying that they will look good in the league that they play in and that is the NCOSA which is pathetic this year, would not be surprised to see Old Fort even make a leap in their standings!!
