Ben Miller is a solid goal keeper no lie here. But just solid not great or anything like that and shouldnt be considered for all sate. As for the talk about Adam and Cody. Cody was the better goalie then Adam in most regards. But they got along very well and learnt alot form each other. As for there defenses, both of there defenses were really good and I bet they would both admit they saved there butts alot. But also the talents level was so much better a couple of years back and they both had a GAA under 1. The talent level around here now I think everyone would agree is very down.

What do you mean that Ben Miller isn't doing very well this year? He is also just more than solid. He can jump really high for 5' 9'' and when i say jump i mean get both elbows over the crossbar! He is also very strong and can dive either way at all cost. So DON'T tell me he's not great or anything or shouldn't be considered for all state.

it was 2001, they had a 10-3 record or something. they had 12 or so seniors. and fyi in 2 years or so miller city will be the team to beat i think. they had 5 or 6 freshan starting varsty and they got another freshamn starting this year too. so in a few years miller city will b VERY experienced and good numbers.

that is just my opinion biggrin.gif

I honestly think Miller City will be a flop this year compared to all there hype and brag from there own players. They dont have the skills to compete with the real teams in the PCL

I am so sick and tired of hearin "MC's freshman, they will be amazing in 2 years, they are contenders in the league this year" all that crap. Miller City dosent stand a chance in hell aginst some of the better programs in the PCL.

BUCKEYEFAN, you're also forgetting that they were missing their center defender (schroeder) and their goalie (lammers), they weren't just missing rieman. so apparently they were able to adjust very well to beat kalida. o, and all bark and no bite? also "Miller City dosent stand a chance in hell aginst some of the better programs in the PCL"....hmmmm, really?

Your right Wild, they were missing a couple of players, but it is not just about a " couple " of players it is about being a "TEAM". MC has a good team -- and the freshman that everyone keeps talking about being so good. I don't see them being so great in a couple of years unless a couple of them step up, which I don't see happening. They are good but, it will be hard to replace the seniors this yr. they have a lot of talent.

I will admit that i thought miller city wasnt going to be very good but now that they've beat kalida people will look at them more seriously. Also dont give me no crap with "ya miller city didnt even have all of there players there" because in the books it only shows mc 1-0. Not who was hurt or couldnt play.

Maybe that freshman keeper from mc will soon get very good if he can shut out kalida in his first start...

MC should have beaten Ottoville, if the players would have played their game, but they didn't and Ottoville won -- congrats to them. Played Cont. close and will be a tough game vs. Ft Jenniings on fri. Good luck to them.

Billy Bob your right every team has it hurt players or players that have to miss a game for what ever reason, thats part of the game.
