How did the two #1's and the two #2 get in the same bracket. Minster #2 from Coldwater and #2 USV from Kenton . #1 Marion Local from Coldwater and #1 Ada from Kenton. Did someone try to avoid the #3 or #4 seeds?

Coaches with seeds place themselves on brackets without knowing where the teams in the other sectional put themselves. Sometimes there is a day or time they like and they put themselves in that spot.

See thats what I thought as well. The only thing is when you draw for tournament, you are only picking your sectional bracket and what side of the braket you would like to be on (if you are a higher seed). Also you can choose like what time and what not. What I am aware of is that you can't chose your destination beyond sectionals. Meaning you can't choose a time that you want or a side of the bracket that you want. Your just mainly focusing on the sectional bracket and thats it. I was always aware that the bracket with a 1 seed will play the bracket with a 2 seed in district semis. In this is case its a bracket with a 1 seed playing a bracket with a 1 seed in district semis. I think there is more to this. Bobby I don't know if your theory is correct, it could be, but I just think there is something else.

Bobby is correct here, though obvious #1 seeds will sometimes talk to their counterparts in the other sectionals to avoid a district semi-final matchup. They know which district bracket they'll feed into, but unless they talk beforehand they don't know who they'll match up with.

I don't think it makes much difference in this case. The Coldwater winners would meet for the District title regardless.
