I had a 79 Camaro that I put a new engine in. It wasn't exactly "stock" and I could easily bury the speedometer that went to 130. So-I'd say around 130 was the fastest I have ever driven.

How fast would you drive if there was no speed limit?

I'd probably do 85 to 90 if there was no limit. Above that, it's easy to lose control if you hit a rise.

I'd then probably do 75 down Main St in that speedtrap call Cridersville, flipping the bird as I passed the police station.

The fastest I have ever went was about 115. Funny thing is that it was in a Honda Accord. A buddy of mine got his Mustang to about 135 awhile back.
I would consistently drive 75 to 80 if there was no limit.

155 mph a couple times, and that's because the chip says that's fast enough and stopped the acceleration. I'll plead the fifth on where this occured. :)

My '89 Chevy Beretta GT - 115. Decided that was stupid so I slowed her down.

Fort Fan, I too (and I still have it) a 79 Camaro, In 79 I hit 125 out on the back roads in Utah. Not a car around so I let her rip....of course the guy with me was egging me on! I also have a 67 Camaro that I use to race against my brothers 74 Vette. I beat it every time!!!

Why bother going over 75 in a mini van. But for you, it was probably a big thrill. LJ

Haha, wasn't me. I was 13 twenty years ago. For me, it was Amsterdam Rd in Auglaize County, New Bremen area, about 15 years ago. Middle of the day.

Had a 1970 Torino that I buried the speedo a couple of times over 120. Felt like I was floating on air!

In HS a friend of mine had a '67 Chevelle with a 454 in it. We came back from Wauseon one night--running the back roads and hit 145 mph. The car was shaking so bad I thought it would disintegrate. I gave praise to the Lord when I got home.
